Americas Best Value Inn Belleville

This hotel was such a nice surprise for us as we travel to Nebraska for Thanksgiving! We were skeptical when booking, as Belleville seemed to only have two choices of places to stay and the other hotel reviews were rough. America's Best is right off 81 and is not fancy by any means, but this is a case of "don't judge a book by its cover". We had called in advance to let them know we would in pretty late, so they expected us and check in was super easy. The three rooms we booked were small and could use some decor updates, but the things that matter were wonderful! Bed, bathroom and room were super neat and clean, clean and nicely working mini fridge and microwave, new TV that worked perfectly, great temperature and pressure in shower, USB plug ins on either side of bed, desk with small coffee maker (we didn't use) and the heater in the room worked wonderfully. No bugs, no weird stains, no broken electronics. The breakfast in their front office was good. They do not have a full breakfast, but had coffee, juices, milk, bread, bagels, muffins and waffles, along with a couple cereals. More than enough to get us going for the day. If you are visiting the area or traveling, this place worked very nicely and we would definitely stay again.

I had stayed here previously and have to say this time it was nicer. The mattresses and comforters were new as well as the carpet and bathroom. My only complaint is the towels were disgusting and definitely need to be rags. The outside of the hotel is still in need of being remodeled but the rooms are much better. They do have a small continental breakfast included. Allowing pets to stay for $10pn is a huge bonus for us.

Motorcycle friendly, park at your door, courtyard style motor lodge right next door to a restaurant. Older establishment yet our room was very well furnished and comfortable. It had all of the in room amenities and everything worked. Front desk gal was cheerful, and helpful - check in was a breeze. Like a previous reviewer, we couldn't find anything to complain about. All of this for under 80 bucks. Super value and we'll definitely make this a highway 36 stop in the future.

We paid $71 for a roadside motel. I'm used to Best Western, but this was all there was in the area. Yes, it is dated. Yes, I cringed a little at the avocado tub. But the lady at the front desk was pleasant. The room was old but clean. The water pressure was good. The shampoo smelled nice. The toilet was new-ish. The sheets were clean, the bed was comfy, the TV worked. The wifi was pretty decent. I can't really say anything bad about it. We couldn't hear our neighbors. If you have to stay halfway across the state in Kansas....it's not the worst place I've stayed and I do not feel they over charged me.

I was surprised by the room. No doubt about it, its old and needs upgrading but they were clean. Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The shower was ok and the towels were thin and worn. The A/C unit worked great as well the other appliances, There was no breakfast but a restaurant was located next door.
