Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sheldon an IHG Hotel

Hotel was very dirty and the staff was rude. We had higher expectations for a hotel brand that is known nationwide. The pool was decent. The yard was covered in trash. The room was "ok". It was definitely clean, but was just a basic, normal budget type room. We were going to extend, but left and went to the Cobblestone right next door after one night and we were very pleased for a hotel we had not heard of as much as Holliday Inn.

Amazing people at the front desk. They will do anything in their power to make sure you’re comfortable. Nothing to complain about overall it was a great stay would definitely recommend it to anyone else.

We had a stay planned at the Holiday inn in Sheldon. Due to an extreme blizzard, we were unable to travel. The front desk worker was very helpful (we thought) in moving our reservation to a different date. But they we were still charged for the day we couldn't use it! He made a new reservation instead of moving our existing one and the motel will not refund our money. I am very disappointed in the customer service and can't believe they took our money over an employees mistake!

We stayed for one night to visit with family. Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was a nice variety and good. We were disappointed to find out that you can’t eat in the pool area and the breakfast seating area is kind of small. There was already another gathering there, so it was a tight fit. The kids pool features were not functional. Big pool was nice. We would stay again, but prob wouldn’t meet there to eat dinner again. Also pool closes at 9, wish it was later. Front desk staff was never there when we stopped by but they were helpful when we started to move tables and make noise. Kid high chairs also had broken straps.

We always have an excellent stay at this property and we have been coming forward years Always very welcoming , Clean, staff is excellent The property is always kept up and the remodel is very nice Thank you always for we know our hotel stay will be one we never have to worry about The Sweeney’s
