Diamond Jo Worth Casino Hotel

I have stayed at many Country Inn and Suites and they are usually a great experience. While there were no problems, the place just felt run down and in need of refurbishment. Our room was very awkward. The hand held shower had been poorly repaired and only sprayed toward the wall of the shower for example. Maybe we just got a bad room. It wasn't very expensive and I guess you get what you pay for. The breakfast was pretty average. There was nothing terrible about the experience, but it was just far less than I expected from this chain.

Staff was great, rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, location was convenient to local entertainment. Breakfast was good with a variety of products.I will definitely stay again. Happy travels.

If you can help it walk across the street and stay at Holiday Inn. Deposit at Country Inn is $112 and there is no alarm clock in ANY of the rooms. Front desk said you can sign a clock out if you need one. Front desk was rude. Hallways haven't been vacuumed in a very long time. Pay more and receive less by staying here

No blankets for wintertime in northern Iowa. No managers on site on a Friday night. Ratty towels, old pillows, no comforter. Breakfast was to be hot, and the eggs and sausage was cold. Because we didn't have any blankets we set the thermometer to 76 degrees but the room was always cold, the heater didn't stop running but was pumping cold air into the room.

We have stayed here in the past due to its connection to Diamond Jo Casino. Hotel is typical , however they did not have cookies on checkin - a disappointment. The food service in the adjoining casino restaurant was a major letdown from previous visits. Staff was nice and service prompt but food quality was a C- at best.
