Leaking water had everything soaking wet, including the bed and that was the main reason for booking the hotel room to begin with! I usually never have issues here, the manager normally does a fantastic job and keeps up on everything so I was very disappointed

Best bedding every.Amazung Hot tub very comfortable with 2 people. Amazing employees great layndry area clean smells good and they have Good morning coffee swimming area is great plenty parking area Breakfast area is nice and large clean area friendly people there at all time

Unsatisfied with the TV and phone in the room. Couldn't get a wake up call. I had to get up early for a basketball game.I have dates here before and never experienced this kind of service before. I would appreciate some kind of refund or another stay I make it right.

This is a very difficult review to write. Everything was "off" during this stay. If I could give it, they would get a 2 and 1/2 to 2 and 1/4 stars instead as the front desk staff really, really, really tried to help -- but the limited ability to help just didn't "fix" any issues. 1) The hotel was majorly short staffed and the staff that was there, was still learning the ins and outs of this location. 2) The front desk/management staff was relying on maintenance to be responsive to fix our room issues. That just caused more hassles for us and timing problems for the front desk. 3) The hotel was both overfilled and has construction going on during the busiest weekend of the year. That was poor planning and certainly poor timing. We needed to be switched to another room but couldn't even get that efficiently accomplished. 4) Housekeeping was either not completed or completed way too late for various reasons -- basically leaving us to strip and redo our own beds and bed box springs. After speaking with the manager upon our departure, while the hotel reasons for this were legitimate, at the time it was very frustrating for us. 5) The room window overlooked the pool. The pool sounds echoed throughout the room all day and right up until the time the pool closed. Kids screaming in fun, parents snapping in anger and/or families fighting could all be clearly heard in the room. 6) The parking lot is not well designed and parking sucks when the hotel is full. 7) There was water damaged throughout the room and the interior wall (a non water wall) was damp during our stay. 8) Toilet was full height and easy to access. 9) Internet access was secured and properly configured. That was a plus.

Do Not Stay Here, Go Across Town to Another Hotel The one good thing I can say about the Baymont in Keokuk, Iowa, is that Heather and the morning staff were very friendly. Our room was FILTHY!!!! Popcorn kernels were in the bed. My husband went down to get clean sheets, which we put on ourselves. There was a circle of sticky something on the bathroom counter ( cocoa perhaps.) It wasn’t just a stain, there was depth to that circle of sticky whatever. There was a thick layer of grease in a corner of the microwave. I believe that room was never cleaned from the last occupant. I didn’t take a shower as I feared what might be in there. The breakfast was okay, but I was shocked to see that the butter and cream cheese were in community bowls, rather than in individual packets. The butter was on a butter dish, the cream cheese in a plastic cream cheese bowl that everyone could dip into with a knife. I declined! When I left the next morning, I thanked the staff for their friendliness, but told her I’d have to write a bad review of the hotel. I think she understood. We were refunded a total of $22.
