My Place Hotel Davenport Quad Cities IA

I travel frequently for dog shows and "My Place Davenport" really sets the bar high. The staff is tremendous. Kylie...Tony....Shauna... and the rest of the front desk personnel are always friendly and welcoming. You would never know the hotel wasn't brand new. The grounds are always spotless and the rooms are clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that "My Place" doesn't have more hotels in the Midwest. "So come on, Corporate!". Let's fast- track the expansion and when you do make sure you hire people as great as the Davenport staff. :-)

No staff was present upon our arrival. There is a $10 per hour fee charged if you’d like to check in before 3pm to an available room but no credit given if you check out early. The hotel appears to be used as temporary housing for this communities members.

My Place Hotels Davenport is great. The hotel is very clean and well kept up. I have stayed here since they opened and have never had a problem with their rooms, wish I could say the same for other places. The rooms have a kitchenette which includes a full size refrigerator/freeze with an ice maker, two burner top stove, microwave and coffee maker for those misguided people who drink coffee. If you just need one queen bed I would request that since those have a nice recliner instead of a second queen. The laundry room is nice and has a table to fold at and another to sit at, so it's not just a closet like laundry room. They picked a great location. It is about 1 minute from I-74 so you can easily hop back on the interstate when you are ready to go or just use it to get to the Illinois side while you are there. However it is not close enough to be noisy or busy. They are not on but next to two roads that have a large number of businesses a traveler might be interested, including multiple grocery stores, clothing stores, restaurants from the typical to some unique ones, a couple of drug stores and even a used bookstore (hard to find anymore). Both the roads give you quick access to Davenport and Bettendorf. Since they are just off those two roads you do not get the noise or traffic. The road they are on also has a decent number of restaurants so you could just walk to one without any problems. Finally the best part. I have said this in every review of this hotel I have given, the staff is the best part. They are great. They are polite, helpful and friendly. They are what separate this hotel from others I have stayed at and make the stay enjoyable. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure I think you would find your stay convenient and enjoyable.

Extremely nice staff, everything was clean and comfortable and worked well, and the little kiosk in the lobby had a great selection of stuff including some frozen entrees and sundries, prices not too high for a hotel. Really great value overall.

This is a great place to stay. I don't need a pool or workout room. I just want a CLEAN place with a comfortable bed, with great people, and good coffee in the room. So this is MyPLACE. I have stayed here several times now and I'll be back whenever I'm traveling to Davenport.
