Candlewood Suites Davenport an IHG Hotel

Called to if they accepted pets & woman at front desk said yes. Gave my credit card to hold the room. When I arrived in the lobby with my 6 1/2 lb cat in a carrier she was very rude & said they don’t accept cats. She had already processed my CC & when I asked for a refund she hard timed me. While waiting I observed several large dogs in & out with owners. I stayed in lobby making phone calls to find another place to stay while she glared at me As I left she went out the back to have a cigarette. Would never recommend or try to stay there again.

We stopped here for a quick overnight while traveling through the area. It is convenient and new. Our room had a “full “ kitchen: fridge, sink, dishwasher, microwave and cooktop. It’s really set up for long term guests. It had a large desk area, 3 different chairs and a queen bed. The bed was firm yet soft. The comforter was slippery on the bottom so kept sliding around during the night. Bathroom was a nice size. They do not serve breakfast. They do at least have coffee in the morning.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a Friday and Saturday. The hotel is conveniently located near a lot of restaurants. The room was nice and included a kitchenette. The shower curtain was too small for the shower in our room which made it miserable for my friend who took the 1st shower. When I took my shower I moved the shower head towards the wall more to help prevent water from going on floor. Was disappointed to learn there was no breakfast offered. Seems this is more of an extended stay place where we were here for only 2 nights. Staff is friendly.

We have always had great customer service when we stay here. The rooms are reasonably priced for a 1 bdrm suite compared to other hotels in the Quad Cities. The rooms are always clean and the location is convenient to everything.

Good location, close to restaurants and grocery store. Room was nice size and it was nice to have a full size refrigerator and ability to fix your own meals if necessary. Nice fitness center also. Would definitely recommend.
