Best Western Plus Steeplegate Inn

Great hotel. It was very reasonably priced. Helpful and courteous employees. Fit our needs-It was close to everything we wanted to do. Hotel is is in a good central location. The lady working breakfast Sunday morning went our of her way to help if you needed anything.

The hotel is a bit dated, but they are making efforts to update the rooms and guest areas. They were constantly cleaning, and you can see they take great pride in their service. Every employee was professional, kind, and just pleasant to speak with. We were there with our soccer team for a tournament, and they did everything they could to ensure we were comfortable and having a great time. They allowed us to use a large room with a TV to have a team dinner and watch the NCAA tournament. I was so impressed with the overall service at this hotel.

The most disgusting place I have ever stayed at. If I could give it a ZERO I would. Let's start with a No WIFI password I went to call the front desk and the phone in the room was full of something so gross and sticky the buttons would not even work. Next, the pool was freezing and had dead flies all over it. And the bedroom well how about you? Look at the pictures! It was full of just disgusting filth. The ceiling had big stains on it. The Whirlpool hot tub in the room had to be cleaned before we could use it and I mean cleaned, coffee stains on the sink. The towel holder was just hanging out of the wall. It was the worst place I have ever stayed at. I'm 65 years old and I have traveled to many places and never and I mean never have had an experience like this. We made this trip to be halfway to Omaha Nebraska. We drove to this place for a pool and whirlpool. My two-year-old great-granddaughter was devastated when we went to the pool and couldn't use it. I took the phone down they did nothing about that then I took these pictures down for checkout. She took pictures of what I had and said the manager would call me in two hours. Well, it has been 6 hours and no call and when I call there it just rings!!! So I will contact a tone I have to so they get there and do an inspection. This is not fit for anyone not even your dogs. These people do not care. Then it was all paid for and they needed a 50.00 deposit for incidentals. When do we get it back??? 3-5 days. They should have paid us to stay there. So sorry people for the rant but this place should be shut down and cleaned up!!!!

Went for fun but pool was so cold we couldn’t swim. Common areas very cold had to wear coats to walk around and be comfortable even at breakfast. The room and hotel looked clean breakfast was good. Workers had no answers on why it was so cold. Breakfast area finally got warm after so many people complained and they turned on the heat. We have stayed there before and things were good sure has went downhill

Gross, gross, gross. After arriving at this hotel late at night, I was horrified to find the top sheet covered with various stains including blood. After pulling back the comforter, I found the sheets covered with more blood and various stains. Someone from the front desk brought replacement sheets, only one of which wasn't covered in stains. Besides the sheets, the bed was super uncomfortable, it felt like it was caving in. The hotel also advertising having a hot tub, although it's clear that it hasn't been used in many years.
