Best Western Plus Coralville Hotel

Totally unacceptable, disgusting bathtub. The attempt to restore the tub's finish couldn't have been done worse. Globs of uneven paint slopped on the sides and bottom of the tub. A moldy discolored mat with globs of caulk droppings was partially glued onto the bottom. Caulk that had been roughly smeared on the seams trying to cover the mold was peeling.

Owner checked us in and he was very nice. Strange thing to say but the toilets were a nice height. I want to say there were not any clocks but not sure. but all in all it was okay. Breakfast was good and the rooms were clean but there were some strange creeks and noises during the night. Rooms had a modern look to them.

After a stressful day of surgery at U of I Hospital, it was really nice to go to a hotel that was nice, quiet and welcoming. Excellent hot breakfast the next morning. Overall it was a great value and would highly recommend a stay there. I know I will!

Bed was very comfortable with good pillows. Good-sized fridge in the room. Quiet room. Air conditioner is on the noisy side. Window does open. Really good blackout curtains. Nice looby and breakfast space. Chair upholstery needs spot cleaning.

Pros- the location was good, staff was friendly, easy check in and out, breakfast was good. Cons- room was not clean (dirt in bathtub, toilet lid broken and laying on the floor, carpet needed vacummed). Overall, I usually have good stays at Best Western Plus so I will try other Best Western Plus again.
