Wildwood Lodge

Great service. Great staff (especially Carol at the front desk)! Large rooms, the most comfortable beds, nice pool and whirlpool! Best hotel in Wi! Breakfast is always good and hot! Love the theme of the Hotel (north woods kind of feeling)!

The most wonderful place to stay. If I had to rate this hotel it would be a plus 20. Staff is incredible! Big shout out to jade, Tamara, carol, and jennifer. Absolute hospitality....you are so amazing. Shout out again! Great place for couples.

This place is amazing! The staff were so helpful, the room was immaculate and the bed was great. The pool & hot tub were perfect temperatures--especially after a long day on the road! Tamara helped us set up our reservation and was so incredibly helpful! And when we arrived the man on duty was also tremendously helpful. The Machine Shed restaurant was next-door and the food was great! We have stayed all over Waukesha but never had an experience like this. I highly recommend it!

Comfortable ambience, friendly staff, 3story atrium with pool, and a lobby full of comfortable chairs and board games makes this a comfortable place to stay. And on a winter Sunday night, very affordable too. We liked the wildwood lodge near Des Moines, Iowa so much we decided to stay here when we needed a quick overnight after an unexpectedly late flight into Milwaukee. It’s 25 minutes north west of airport but so much nicer (and right off 94 going west of the city). I didn’t see granola and dried fruits for breakfast as I had before but the breakfast was still good. And nice to eat in a two-story lobby. May return some time. The heating unit was odd because the sign said controlled by wall thermostat— but the wall thermostat was blank. Luckily front desk told me to just adjust on heating unit itself. The fans on those units are always noisier than I would like — but not terribly so.

I fell in the lobby because floor was just cleaned but the warning signage was so far from my sight….maintenance guy immediately helped me BUT said “I need to be more careful”! WOW! I never made a scene or complained even though my attorney sister was me….we just let it go. Put “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door. Went to my brothers funeral and when we came back, black gloves not belonging to my family members or myself were on the bed. Just be very careful! It doesn’t matter if the “ Do Not Disturb” sign is on your door! They’re coming in whether you want them to or not! I do regret not turning in the gloves to the manager and asking to review camera footage as my room was right off the elevator…..I was just too exhausted from the funeral. Just be very careful staying at this place! Aside from that…..I would’ve enjoyed it!
