Hampton Inn Omaha Airport

Would not stay here again. When we arrived, there were 6 parties ahead of us in line to check in and 1 employee. There were signs everywhere notifying guests that the elevators were not working. After looking at the reviews on google, looks like elevators have been an issue for a while. We were on the 4th floor and the elevators didn’t work the entire length of our stay. No sign of any one working on them. The majority of the time when we walked by the front desk there was no one behind it. Just a sign saying they would return shortly. Peeling wallpaper, stains on the carpet. Do yourself a favor and stay at the other Hampton Inn across from the baseball field down the street.

First off, if you’re staying for easy access to the airport, this is an okay location. But I was seriously disappointed by the lack of attention to detail, and efforts to save money at the expense of customer service. There was no diamond welcome gift, although they did provide me with a bottle of the cheapest possible water when requested. The bathroom was the old school dirty tub shower, rather than a clean walk in. There were mounts on the wall for amenities such as shower gel, but all the bottles had been removed. So I had a bar of prison soap and a tiny bottle of conditioner. No shampoo or shower gel. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The carpet was stained. But the room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was no laundry bag in the room. The hotel isn’t bad, and with a bit of care and attention could be a solid 3 stars. But poor management means it barely scrapes a 2. Well below the standards of a typical airport Hilton.

Terrible customer service at the front desk. Personal was rude upon check in, and not very helpful. We went out for supper and upon return things got worse. The front desk attendant was in the back room and the lobby smell like pot! Wanted to purchase water and a snack and she just shouted from the back room “I can see you - just take it!”

Quiet location 3 minutes from the Omaha Airport and maybe 5 minutes from downtown and the old market areas. They do have a shuttle free for guests. I did utilize the park and fly. Left my car paid 10 bucks a night and shuttled back and forth. Hot breakfast, well stocked market. Overall good stay
