Southfork Motel

Spent the night here while we helped our kids move to Minnesota. Clean and quiet rooms. You can tell they've put a bit of love into the place. Was shocked to receive an actual key instead of a key card. The 'bag of rags' left in the room was a great idea! If we would end up in the area again, we would book here again.

Day 2 of my 2 week independent hotel trip: From the outside the place looks like it could be hit or miss(dirt parking lot), but inside, the room was updated, spacious and clean. Quite impressed by everything. Motel is set up with hallway and rooms on both sides. They also have a restaurant that I did not use.

The rooms were super clean, the staff was awesome. The restaurant had delicious food! The beds were great and the price was super reasonable! We had adjoining rooms, so we had a king room and a double room. Both were great!

Very comfortable rooms with windows that allows a lot of light into the room. Our room has a long sofa and king bed was comfortable We work all over and stay in the nicest hotels and I can honestly say I was absolutely at home staying here all week, Loved the prime rib from the restaurant that is attached to the motel. Would stay here again whenever in the area.....

Our family reserved 2 rooms here. Walking in the front door we were hit by a terrible, musky odor. Our rooms had the same odor. Dead mouse? Dampness? Old smoke? The entire motel had this smell. No stopper in the sink. No hairdryer in the rooms. Front desk had a few hairdryers. The decor was circa 1970. There is one other motel in town. I’d recommend going there.
