Comfort Inn & Suites Ankeny Des Moines

This is our first time staying here. It was a great experience. The staff at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and exactly what we needed. It was so nice to have a fridge and microwave. The bed was high up off the floor and I loved it! Mattress is a little firm for my liking, but that's all personal preference. Plugs right next to the bed was perfect for charging my phone while I slept. I do wish we could have the fan on constant speed, but again, personal preference. Only downside--walls are a little on the thin side, but luckily we had quiet guests next to us. We enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning before we left. I only had toast, my partner had the waffle and eggs.

Superb, hotel rooms are spacious, cleanliness is outstanding, the interior decor, lobby, dining area, and exterior all appear to be newly remodeled. Value, room pricing, and accommodations are definitely very reasonable. Hotel staff (front desk, dining area, and housekeeping) very courteous and friendly. Great location, close proximity to downtown Des Moines. Ample dining establishments within walking distance or a short drive. As a Choice member who’s stayed in numerous Choice hotels in the US, and Asia, this hotel has made it onto my “Favorites List.” Certainly will be a return customer when in the Des Moines area.

Cleanest most well kept hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. Rates are very resonable and staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Location is right off the interstate so there is just a bit of traffic noise, but nothing that would be considered intrusive. There is a pool and exercise facility on site and several places to eat close by.

Excellent experience all around. Great Location, Clean, friendly staff, great breakfast! Price was right. Definitely worth the stay. I would recommend this for anyone staying in the Des Moines area. Easy access to I-35.

This hotel is just at the right distance for our trips to Minnesota. Again, no suprises. Revervation was perfect, front desk crew were extremely pleasant to deal with. room was quiet and clean so we had nice night, Breakfast in morning got us on way perfectly.
