I booked this hotel at 11 AM for just one night, but had to cancel by noon because a customer informed me they had Covid, making travel unwise. Despite my efforts to cancel through the Hilton App and making two direct calls to customer service, this hotel refused to budge. They still charged me over $150 for a room I didn't even use. After nearly a decade of loyalty as a Diamond member, in all those years this is beyond disappointing. It's a betrayal of trust. Fellow Business Travelers, heed my warning: choose another location. This hotel's lack of flexibility and disregard for customer loyalty is unacceptable.

Hotel was ok. Girl at desk when checked in told us we had to use credit card to hold the room and incidentals even though we booked through priceline. We were therefore double charged for the room. I called and left message for manager when I discovered double charge. Manager never returned call. I called the next day and lady I spoke with said they tried to call three times. Never had any missed calls??? Hampton Inn did refund the money for double charging. Last time a hotel chain double charged me was about ten years ago, I have yet to stay at their hotels!!!! In conclusion, hotel was ok, but beware of their shady business practice.

It was a last minute trip and we'd packed quickly and forgot to bring toothbrushes, I was looking for toothbrushes in the drawers in the little store. I was happy to buy them but the front desk person offered complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste. This the reason we always choose Hampton. Friendly, very comfortable really good beds, clean to name a few. I always enjoy early morning coffee in the gathering space. Just a nice place to be.

The nonrefundability of the booking was not clearly disclosed by Booking.com--it was buried in an 'Accept Terms' check box. In addition, a timer was running/counting down to complete the booking, and so there was not adequate time to read the disclosures and nonrefundability at the bottom of the check box. Extremely deceptive. When I called Altoona Hampton, my call was passed around and I was given different answers. I finally called manger and left a message, and my call was never returned. Terrible booking experience and terrible customer service. I will never stay at another Hampton.

just off the interstate. the hotel was clean and quiet. breakfast was fine. the room was clean, no complaints. there plenty of gas stations nearby, but if you are looking for a restaurant, will need to drive about 10 minutes into town.
