Hotel is awful! Noise from restaurants next to hotel getting deliveries or emptying dumpsters between 3am-5am every morning. Window leak causing mildew/mold in the room. It was obvious the leak was not new and had been there a few months with the sheetrock falling from the top of the window. Manager is rude.

My sister and I chose this hotel after staying at a TownePlace Suites in Sidney, OH, just a few weeks prior. Talk about day and night differences. I'll keep this short. The cons: TV options sucked No light in the shower No light switches anywhere. Have to walk across a dark room and find a lamp with a switch to turn on. Shower head is for midgets Tub didn't drain well No counter space in bathroom Outlet in bathroom is 2 feet from the small sink No ventilation in the bathroom Couch in living room is as hard as a rock, and made for the jolly green giant. My legs stuck straight out, when I sat all the way back Elevator consistently didn't work Shower knob was extremely hard to pull up or push down Not enough electrical outlets to charge devices Lock on entry door didn't work properly Bedroom lighting is horribly dim Nowhere to hang towels in bathroom When you open the entrance door, the door hits the kitchen table. This was supposedly a handicap room, but there is no way a wheelchair would fit in the door, because of the kitchen table being right in front of the door when you walk in. I'm just tired of typing all the "cons" now. Pros: The hotel felt safe and secure Easy access on and off of the Interstate Staff was friendly

The hotel staff was extremely nice. Debbie was very helpful and even remembered my name each time I came and went from the hotel. The hotel was clean and accommodating. The rooms are a little bit outdated with some old carpet but all in all it was a very good and clean stay the hotels towels were very soft and clean.

Shoulda left before check in when I seen the fruit flies every where! Entire breakfast area and lobby are infested with fruit flies flying. Staff clearly know about it since they have traps all in the breakfast foods. Unsanitary! Try speaking to management, but the man blows you off don't care and the lady is just rude and argues. Front desk acts like you bothering them or interrupt they nap time when you need something. Accept for Ms Debby and Ms Sheryl. Asked if coffee will be ready on my early days and those two ladies are the only ones who would get it done. Can't fine anyone in the middle of night when it isn't Debby or Sheryl working. And overheard many loud "discussions" from managers being rude to staff thru out stay. Was here for about 1 month. The 2 ladies I name are the only reason I would consider go back. The rest need serious work!

Titanium Elite with Marriott - As soon as I walked into the lobby I noticed a strong unpleasant detergent smell. This smell carried into the hallway and my assigned room to an unbearable level. I asked to change rooms- the new room had less of the smell but the attendant forgot to clean the bathroom. I did not bother taking a shower. This is a relatively new hotel- the wear and tear is well above average and cleanliness is not worthy of the Marriott brand.Will not stay again. I recommend the Courtyard Lafayette South if available.
