I've stay here at the courtyard in Kokomo In for a couple weeks in August. I would have to say out of all of the hotels I would pick this one over and over again! Great staff members. They treat you just like family. Especially my children the staff would greet them all the time. Pet friendly as well! My little Chloe got a lot of attention while here. The rooms was always cleaned and if we needed something the staff would always help no matter what! Great Job Courtyard!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Kokomo for 3 nights and, unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. My stay was marred by a series of issues that highlighted significant gaps in the hotel's service. From the outset, there was an unpleasant smell in our room upon check-in on the first night. The hotel staff did respond promptly and sprayed the room with a freshener, but this was merely a temporary fix. Despite agreeing to forgo cleaning on the following day, we returned late on the second night to find the smell had worsened, particularly around the bed closest to the window. I had to use my personal perfume to mask the odor. On the morning of our departure, I requested the front desk clerk to have our room cleaned and left a note specifically asking for air freshener to be used around the affected area. To my dismay, upon returning around 11 pm that night, the room had not been cleaned at all. Francesca, a staff member who came to address the issue, was very apologetic. She acknowledged the smell, provided fresh towels, and removed the used towels and trash. Although she offered a complimentary breakfast as compensation, it was too little too late for us at that point. When checking out the following day at 11 am, I spoke with the front desk clerk who had handled our cleaning request. She admitted there might have been an error but could not offer a clear explanation. I requested that my receipt be emailed to me. However, when I followed up with a call at 5:25 pm, no receipt had been sent. Brian, the manager, eventually sent the receipt after initially claiming my email wasn't in the system, which seemed more like an attempt to cover up the associate's mistake. We stayed in 4 other Marriott properties in the last 13 days of our vacation and receipts are emailed to me within seconds after I checked out. The Courtyard Kokomo's handling of our stay was disappointing on several fronts: 1) The hotel should have offered to move us to a different room when the odor issue was first reported. 2) There needs to be a more reliable system to track and ensure that special requests, like room cleaning after a two-night stay, are fulfilled. 3) Staff who make errors in handling requests and administrative tasks should receive proper training to prevent similar issues in the future. I hope this review serves as a useful guide for future guests and prompts the Courtyard Kokomo to address these concerns. For anyone considering staying here, be sure to closely monitor your requests and address any issues promptly to avoid similar frustrations.

let me just say this.... this could have been a nice stay. if the hotel wasnt fully under construction. there is ZERO information about the renovations on the website, but upon arrival, we walked into a full blown 24-hr a day construction zone. not only did they inform us that construction would stop by 8pm (lie - i have video footage of concrete being poured at 11:30pm) the full construction crew was staying at the hotel. there was a sad dog barking 24/7 in the room next to us, and the crew was milling around drunk late at night making it very uncomfortable. once complete, the hotel no doubt will be great, but during our stay we had to enter and exit thru a hallway with clear DO NOT ENTER signs since it was an active construction, as you will see from my photos. there was no bistro, just a weird locked cage with some packaged food. it was bizarre. we were there for a funeral, but when we asked for some type of compensation they told us we could leave or get 4 free drinks. it was WILD. they have refused to refund us, and they are fighting corporate Marriott to give us a refund. literally one night the front doors were sealed locked so they could repave the lobby, and the front desk lady was stuck in there in a mask all night as they poured TOXIC fumes. we walked thru on our way to the room and could barely breath. all videos and photos can be seen below. i am tempted to report them to OSHA since literally the conditions were so unsafe. even the housekeeper said her sinuses were literally unbearable from all the fumes. SCARY STUFF NOTE - I CANNOT UPLOAD THE VIDEO SO THESE SCREEN SHOTS ALL SHOW WHAT WE SAW AND HAVE ON VIDEO

Great place to stop on our way out of town for Spring Break drive to the Panhandle. Comfy beds, clean and friendly. Starbucks station inside the hotel. Bonus. Would for sure stay here again without hesitation. Didn't have time to use pool so not sure how that is.

Business brought me to Kokomo, and I chose the Courtyard by Marriott. The facility is scheduled for refurbishment/remodeling/updating later this year. It's a three story facility, located near a main intersection in town. This provides convenience to many sights. I had a room with a king-size bed. The service provided at this location was commendable. Check-in was quick and flawless. The front desk team member responded to my request for extra pillows quickly. Breakfast was tasty, prepared to order, and fast. All and all, a good one night stay.
