Fairfield Inn & Suites Jasper

First let me say the lady at the front desk was wonderful. She was polite and helpful throughout our issues. Now we checked into a 2 queen studio and right when we walked in there was a smell in the room. It smelled musty, like no one had been in the room for a while. Then we checked the beds. We didn’t even have to pull back the sheets to see a squished bug on the fitted sheet by the pillow. We called to get another room, and while the lady was looking we found the electric panel was off under the shelf between the beds, and all the wires were just hanging out of the wall which seemed like a safety concern. Also there appeared to be soft spots in the floor where it was super bouncy. Strange! We also found a giant daddy long legs spider right outside the bathroom. We got moved to a new room and the 1st thing was the lights by the bed did not work. I was willing to over look that because it was super late. The problem was there was a giant brown stain in the middle of the comforter, the panel under the table between the beds was wide open again, and upon closer inspection the room appeared to have not been cleaned for a while. On our way to the front desk we noticed they had a plant at the end of the hall that appeared nearly dead. All of this to say, I really wanted to like this hotel because it had a great location, and the people were friendly. The thing is none of that matters if the rooms aren’t clean, and well maintained.

Nice clean hotel, Chelsea very sweet at front desk. Told us to check out the German restaurant, Schnitzelbank, we had dinner at the establishment, nice experience. Hotel is a good location near the downtown square. Ample parking, no charge, nice rooms, very clean property. Breakfast was enough, fruit, oatmeal, yogurts, assorted bagels and breads for toast. Very adequate . Would recommend this property.

Excellent hotel. Staff members - front desk, housekeeping, breakfast staff - were all welcoming and personable. Clean rooms. Great location to walk to restaurants or walk along the greenway trail that runs behind the hotel.

Me and my husband came down to visit friends and family and one of the staff on night shift had a bed bugs on that person so me and my husband left cuz we did not want to get bed bugs other than that are stay was good till we seen bed bugs on a employee

For being a fairly new hotel this place is surely lacking in staffing and management. The managers, 2 of them, work the same shift 9:00 to 5:00. Meaning if you have an issue with, the staff can not help you! Oh if you think you’re gonna get breakfast forget it. Have no fear it’s not the hotels fault, the food just didn’t delivered. My suggestion keep looking, unless you love excises. Yes that’s the coffee creamer!
