Red Roof Inn Indianapolis South

A very basic motel-clean but nothing more. The AC was extremely loud, making it hard to sleep unless turned off. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, and the place could use a remodel soon. No complimentary breakfast, just morning coffee. It’s an okay option if you need a simple place to stay for one or two nights, but don’t expect much comfort.

I have stayed her many times in the last 10 years. It was a corporate facility and is not a franchisee which raised concerns. (My experience is corporate motels are usually better run and corporate will deal with issues on their facilities alone). On the recommendation of someone else booked a location on the North side of Indy (same chain) and left the review) I checked out the am after i checked in and made a reservation here. Thankfully still great staff, clean modern rooms, no pet fees and easy to get in and out of along with great price. I continue to highly recommend this location.

Decent rooms, but the location of the property and the immediate outside surroundings didn't lend to a feeling of safety. I stayed for three nights and on night #2, there were multiple fire trucks, police cars, and EMS in the evening. Something pretty big went down. Every night, there seemed to be numerous people milling around in the evening and the sound proofing was poor to the point of hearing conversations through the walls and the door...conversations that did not inspire confidence. I would not stay here again.

We were just looking for a no frills stop to lay our heads as we weren't going to be getting in until very late. The check in was nice, friendly. We loved that our dog could stay for free. The one thing I really look for is clean, and this place was not. I pulled down the covers, mind you it's like 2 am and the sheet is dirty. No maids at that time of night. Will not stay again. Bathtub was also gross. When I checked out the person was on the phone and pretty much dismissed my complaint about the cleanliness. Just said I'll let the maids know and then was back to his phone call.

Jodie at the front desk is the best. Always professional, friendly, and helpful!! I love that she remembers me whenever I return and this makes me feel very welcome!! This is also one of the nicest, cleanest and well updated Red Roof hotels I’ve stayed at too!! Very safe, quiet and close to stores and restaurants.
