Motel 6 Indianapolis IN

Overall not a bad place to stay for the price. The common areas do smell like weed but the room didn't and was pretty clean which is all that mattered to me. However, we ended up forgetting a very expensive pillow in the room (in hindsight we shouldn't have brought it with us but its the only thing that helps my partner sleep at night and having to travel the next day, sleep is important). When T realized it was missing L immediately called the hotel. Honestly, I was treated very poorly told that they didn't have the pillow and all the rooms have been cleaned and that if house keeping had found it, they would have turned it in. I told them that it had to be there and maybe housekeeping wasn't being honest because we didn't stop anywhere after we left the hotel until 1 realized the pillow was missing. I was belittled for even suggesting one of the house keepers kept it and normally wouldn't make a big stink about it but when I say it's an expensive pillow I mean it's an expensive pillow. After pretty much writing it off as a loss after 9 hours they called me and told me they did actually have the pillow! Shocker. They were a lot nicer this time when talking to me and told me 1 could pick it up at the front desk. When I said I couldn't because I was traveling and just passing through I asked if they could ship it to me. Was given a run around on how to do that. Ended up getting ahold of the actual Manager who was nothing but kind and had someone ship it to me after the whole mess. 5* for him

Room was quite small but clean and updated. Very bare bones. No fridge, no safe, only 2 pillows and 2 towels. Bed was not comfortable. No do not disturb sign so they entered my room while i was out to make the bed which i did not like. Wifi was almost useless. Could browse on a phone but my data network was faster. TV was a good size but no streaming and the wifi was not strong enough to stream if you bring your own streaming device. So basic TV only. The complementary LA fitness is no longer a option even though they still advertise it. They claim it was supposed to be taken off the site. I had to request a discount since this was the reason we picked this location over other options. A minimal discount was offered. Walls were thin, heard lots of neighbor noise and frequently smelled smoking even though it's a nonsmoking building. Water presure was decent but water doesn't get very hot, all the way up it was warm at best. Good if the price is the cheapest in town and your budget is tight. Otherwise not worth it.

Front desk lady was very helpful and friendly and housekeeper and did good job on rooms and helpful if I needed anything her name was Nicole the bathroom had a leak in the tub and the maintenance guy came right up and fixed it his name was randy

Please stay away. Left after 1 night due to the unsafe and unclean conditions. Would not refund our second night. Indy vice squad could load a whole paddy wagon from thias parking lot. Used needles in the halls.

Virtual checkin. Which seemed odd, but ok. The problem was everything else. Windows in our room looked like they hadn't been cleaned in at least a year Very dated. Burn holes in bathroom floor. No shampoo. The main problem was the homeless gentleman camping out at the doors facing Michigan Rd.. He was always following the girls coming in or out. No camera at that door. Well it was there but positioned so that it faced a wooden beam. In the hallways, the windows were open with no screens in them. Thank God my son was accompanying me!!! And even though I called the front desk to report this gentleman, he was still there in the a.m.. So basically they ignored my call. I felt the guests were not high on thier list of priorities Never again Motel 6!
