La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Evansville

Nice hotel and convenient to the interstate. I really wanted to give it 5 stars but I feel it could be just a little better. The lady that checked me in was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed and pillows very comfortable. Curtains in the room did not fully close and towels were thin. The shower had great pressure. Breakfast was above average and well tended to. I would stay again.

Starting with check in I was sent a link to pre checkin I did that then I had to do the same again once I got there. The front staff tho was great very friendly. The hotel is very clean & my room was ready. Bed was nice but pillows need replaced. A lot of light comes thru the door so room was not as dark as I like. The room was large however the bathroom was small and you have to fight the toilet getting out of the shower. Whoever designs these rooms needs to do better. Shower water pressure is Wonderful & the tub drained great. Mini fridge with freezer was great. Remote on TV a little hard to figure out. Now on to breakfast, the room where the food is is small not enough room for people to get their stuff. Scrambled eggs were scrambles so small they were barely there (use a spoon). The rest is what you normally get. Great coffee. The seating is also at a premium not enough room. Take out the huge sofa in the lobby and expand the breakfast seating. Apples were very old with mush spots. No salt & pepper. On the outside the parking lot only has 1 way in & out. There were wires sticking out of an AC unit anf the column by the front door sidewalk has a large piece sticking out. Outside maintance needs done.

The entire stay was very nice! The hotel and all areas within were very clean. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic! All The staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable and even loaned me a charger as I had forgot mine. I have stayed here several times recently and am staying again this week!

Room looked and smelt very clean. Bedding was very clean and seemed fresh. Mattress was comfortable, pillows were soft and breakfast was by far the BEST I have had in a hotel since before COVID. Breakfast crew kept it clean entire time. The facilities were VERY CLEAN. Only complaint would be softer washcloths and offer coffee in lobby for those cold nights.
