Candlewood Suites Louisville North an IHG Hotel

It is newly renovated, so everything is new and clean. It is located near a lot of restaurants. It had a small kitchenette, so we were disappointed that there wasn't a breakfast. We were told during check-in that there was no breakfast because we could make our own. Checking in at 8:00 pm wasn't condusive to shopping for breakfast items. There was a desk with a chair but really no place to eat the food you prepare on your own. They offer free coffee and breakfast sandwiches ($5.00) in a room where you have to use your room key to enter. Staff was friendly. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

This is a awesome place to stay with a awesome staff and conveniently located to everything shopping restaurants and things to do I highly recommend this place it's not far from the downtown Louisville area and the river front the rooms are very nice with kitchenettes I will be staying here again in the future

Went to the MATS 2023 truck show with another couple. We booked 2 rooms. Both rooms were very clean and nice. Each room had a queen bed with a kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Thank you!!

Terrible front desk staff. Locked out of room - had to get new keys. They didn't know whether the gave out the room to someone else (when our stuff was still there!) since we booked two nights in a row. Got new keys. Front Desk staff DJ was a bear to work with. Asked to speak with manager and she hung up on us. Tried three times. Two hang ups and then didn't answer again. Emailed manager and no response. Extra charges on room when nothing was spent! Had to call to get them reversed. Don't do it! Not recommended for the hassle.

Suite was clean & bed comfortable, what we needed, but... There was only one heat/air unit in the living area. Old vents in the walls were obsolete, so closing the door caused the bedroom to be cold. One vent had a power cord hanging out of it - might have been dangerous for kids, and wall hooks for jackets were loose rendering them useless. Storms knocked out satellite TV so all we could do was read, and the recliner chair was stiff, not at all comfortable for extended sitting.
