This is a good hotel with a few problems. 1) The hotel is not accessible/ wheel chair friendly. Not only are there double dog leg turns when you enter the building, while the main doors are wider then the end of the building doors, none of them have an assist button to open the door. They are also a little heavy for someone in a chair to open. Also the short hallway has a double dog leg turn in it as well. (Double Dogleg = 2 90 degree turns.) 2) We stayed in room #139 and were let down by housekeeping. a) The coffee pot and two of the pans that were supposed to be cleaned and stocked in the room were not. (One pan was dirt and one was missing.) b) The dishes in the dish washer were dirty so obviously housekeeping did not check that. c) There was missing silverware including a broken steak knife, whose blade we found on floor by the heater. d) There was dried vomit in the carpet, at the foot of the bed by a wall. e) We asked for coffee pot and after 2 days of housekeeping telling the front desk it was delivered, when they did not, the front desk got one for me. f) And in the annoyance category - The shampoo bottle in the bathroom was used. It was not full when we got there. Normally I leave a small tip for housekeeping, this time I did not. Better Stuff!!! 3) The front desk was busy covering for the housekeeping. They got us the pans we needed so we could cook our dinner the night we arrived after the repeated failure of housekeeping to deliver a coffee pot they got one for me. Thanks Front Desk People! 4) The hotel is not keeping a proper stock of things so the Front Desk "Was raiding rooms" to get us the supplies they needed. The management should have a couple extra rooms worth of supplies on hand for the front desk to make necessary assists. The high point!!! 5) The furnishing were up to standard. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on this year. The chair is comfortable and there are plenty of electrical outlets! The only negative was the extra warning light that was directly over the bed and pulsing every couple of minutes. I could not fall asleep on my back with that light. So I had to sleep on my side. We have requested a call from the manager to talk about our visit. I have been explicit so that he can address housekeeping and other visitors can monitor the situation.

Outdated & dirty. I stayed at this hotel for one month. The carpet is so dirty that I bought area rugs so I wouldn't have to walk on it. The curtains so filthy I washed them & the water was brown. Under the bed was a condom, candy wrappers, hair & dirty socks - never vacuumed. Sofa is stained everywhere so I covered it with a sheet. 2 Coffee makers & 2 toasters broken. Every nite all the halls smelled of marijuana. Every nite on the patio, people drank & smoked pot till 2am.

The elevator was broken. When I made it to the room it had a foul smell in it. It smelled like a dead rat was in the room. The floor was sticky. My local friends were unable to contact me because the phone didn't work. The worse part of all this was when the toilet stopped working. They told me that there were no more rooms. The night manager was so mean and her customer service skills suggested that she should either be fired or quit when she told me to get a plunger and fix it myself. OK, SHE'S THE MANAGER?!! WHO DO I CALL TO COMPLAIN TO....THE MANAGER????!! So, the next day I asked to speak to the day manager. Well, wouldn't you know, she's in a meeting. Yep, that's what I heard her say from behind the wall when I asked to speak to her and the gal went behind the wall to tell her that her services was needed.

My husband and I stayed here so we would be in the Chicago area to help a family member. I used my points for this stay and it worked out quite well for us. The room was very clean. I did notice the hallways were not very clean, particularly in the stairwells. I chalked this up to a lot of businesses having staff shortage due to covid. I also figured, the hotel expected most people to use the elevator. The staff were very friendly and nice. There was a grab and go breakfast that was just okay. It was a bottle of water and two cereal bars-- and a plastic cup of fruit cocktail. Lots of sugar! I've had some pretty good grab and go breakfasts since covid. Including hot breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, yogurt and coffee. This was a little disappointing... and it was not enough to help move someone so I had to get breakfast later. I don't think this hotel is bad - it needs a little work and fresh coffee in the morning. Although there was some in the room. So all good. I was pleased with the location, the room was super clean, despite being a long stay hotel. Also it was quiet considering it's a long stay hotel. It's fine and price is right considering Chicago area.
