Quality Inn & Suites Mattoon Area

Wow! What a great experience for my husband and I on our work trip. Check in and check out was extremely fast. Our room was super convenient, clean and comfy. The bed was so soft and felt wonderful to sleep in. The free hot breakfast was one of the best we have had in months. We highly recommend this Quality Inn to anyone and will stay here again if we are in the area.

I just stayed at the Quality Inn in Mattoon and was very pleased with my stay. They gave me a huge suite with excellent decor and kitchen equipment. Bruce the manager was very welcoming and answered all my questions. The breakfast was exactly what I needed to get off to a good start. Great coffee! Finally, I used the fitness room and again everything was exactly as needed. Highly recommended hotel for rest and relaxation during your travels through central Illinois.

This is the second time I have here while travelling across the US. Both times were good stays and the staff were great! This time Tess was very helpful and provided great customer service. This is easily accessed right off the freeway, I will definitely be staying here again.

Tess at check in was incredibly personable and informative. She had a busy amount of guests in the hotel, but handled it by herself perfectly. She is a huge asset to the hotel. You can tell that the owners are spending the time and energy to make this place nice. This is a Quality Inn we will visit again.

I work myself for a hotel back home and I do understand and let a lot of things go because I understand how it can be when remolding dust get everywhere and something’s can’t be helped but mold in refrigerator and coffee pot had mold in it to so bad I had to exchange it and when did I ended up having to take it apart because of the mold in it I am sorry but I will not stay at this place ever again and don’t suggest anyone else’s to until they learn what clean is. I don’t know if they have no housekeepers and if they do they need to fire everyone of them and start over again. I got so tired of going up front to let them know about all the stuff wrong that I just cleaned room myself before we could go to bed the 1st night. We tried to use the A/C and it hadn’t been cleaned since they opened this place I had to take it off and put into tub to clean the filter and cover for it to even work. They also need to shut down pool do to the fact that the bottom of the pool has big chips out of it I k ow the rules toQuality In. And the room we had wouldn’t pass inspection if I was the owner maybe that’s what needs to happen the owner needs to stay for awhile without telling staff because if they did then maybe it would of been a better stay maybe after the remodel that the crew they hired doing it is messing up horribly and it shows we was in a room that was just remodeled and I would fire them too the owner needs to go to room 126 and take a look I left dirty towels of mold and filth on the bathroom counter just for there FYI it was a shame too because I brought my grandmother who has cancer couldn’t sleep worried she was breathing in mold and other things they said they would change us rooms and never followed up with there promise instead over charges me
