I had a TERRIBLE experience at this hotel. First the air condition didn't work either night I stayed. I called the front desk and he was rude. No maid service. Hot tub was slimy. Bathroom needed repairs and the elevator did not work the morning we left and I am handicapped..had a hard time climbing the stairs to the 3rd floor. Asked for a full refund was given a small discount for my stay.

We picked up a car in Chicago after a long flight and had a long drive to Kansas City in front of us. We needed somewhere to adjust for a couple of nights not too far from the highway. The Comfort Inn North proved to be just the place... just off the highway, across the road from a large mall and plenty of eating options and even a nature reserve just across the highway. The staff were very friendly, the room clean and large enough for our family of 4, and even an indoor swiming pool where our bodies could sort themselves out after the long flight. Just what we needed!

Hands down worst hotel stay ever. I stayed here through a Hotwire booking. It was their last room as they were sold out. When I was checking in, there were several erratic individuals walking in and out of the lobby, which was the first warning. When I got to my room, it was dirty, and it didn't have a standard indoor bolt which prevents others entering if you are inside the room. The door frame looked like it had been broken into several times. But I needed a place to rest, and it was later in the evening so I tried to ignore all of these things. I couldn't go to sleep because of the prostitution and drug activity going on next door. There were also children running up and down the hall screaming after midnight. I didn't feel safe, and I decided that the best thing to do was to leave. When I went to the front desk, there was no one there. There were, however, a few menacing drunk people on the outside benches and a car picking up the prostitute who was staying next door to me. All of the nearby hotels were sold out that evening because of a softball tournament, so I ended up sleeping in my car at a gas station a few hours away. I called the hotel that morning to let them know what had happened and that I had to leave because there was criminal activity, and I didn't feel safe in my room, and that no one was there at the front desk at night when I was leaving. The front desk assistant said that the manager would call me back. I never received a call back. After several calls to Hotwire, the manager called me back and told me that they would refuse to authorize a refund because none of the things I experienced happened, and I didn't register my complaint with the front desk - completely gaslighting me. I was stuck paying $150 for a room I spent a few hours in and had to leave for my physical safety, and the management refused to take any responsibility. Avoid this place!

Please read this review. This hotel is not clean at all. It is severely outdated and dirty. My room had clean sheets and a comfortable bed, but that's it. Upon arrival I find out you had to put your name down in a time slot to use the pool and hot tub, due to COVID-19 they were only allowing family mbrs in certain time slots. This was not disclosed to me when I booked it and I was late to check in. However, the lady at the desk was amazing and allowed us to use their sister hotel's pool and hot tub. She was very nice. I wouldn't go back to this as I didn't feel safe and smelled weed all over, outside and inside.

The only reason we were at this hotel was for a stay and play soccer tournament. This is were tournament organizers pick where you have to stay if you want to play. I have already contacted them to take this truely unsafe hotel off the list. If you are looking for a hotel to deal with prostitution and the constant smell of marijuana this is for you. If you need a key to any room you just have to ask they will not ask for ID or even a name verification. They just hand you 2 new keys. If you need extra towels they will count them and ask for your room number so they can make note. Nevermind that someone could walk into your room at any point. The battery in my door lock went dead at 11PM on a Friday. The front desk resolution was to bang on the door and say they are police to wake up my daughter. When that did not work after a long day of travel and soccer the front desk told me to get comfortable and handed me a pillow, Maintaince will be in tomorrow morning. All while never getting off the FaceTime with a friend. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Choice Hotels if you would like to get ahold of me you have my information it’s under case #10339571
