Red Roof Inn PLUS Chicago Hoffman Estates

Spent one night while on business a few miles away. Can’t beat the value for the price. Room was clean. Towels were not great quality. But bedding was fine. Check-in was a little different with a kiosk and call-center receptionist. But no problems

A good place to stay in the suburbs of Chicago at reasonable price with friendly management, receptionists and staff. I recommend this place for many reasons such as easy walking distance to many food facilities, gas station, bowling, public transportation ( easy connection to Schaumburg shopping center, Rosemont outlet stores, Ohare airport, Elgin River Casino ) . The rooms are quiet and clean . You can feel comfortable and cozy at this place.

Place was neat and check-in was easy. We appreciated the smile at the front desk and the check in with the kiosk was certainly a new and interesting experience for me and my family. We will be back when we find ourselves in need of an affordable stay.

I stayed one night, and there was a buzzing sound coming from somewhere in the room, and I came to the conclusion that it was a little faint noise coming from the smoke alarm, and I couldn’t figure out how to get the noise to stop, so I tried what I can do and I could not sleep whatsoever so I put some thing over the smoke alarm and the noise went away, so I got a letter in the mail from a so-called lawyer representative, accusing me of smoking in the room, in fact, I don’t smoke and clearly there was no smoking in the room so I got a letter in the mail saying final notice when it was the first notice that they were going to take criminal action because of supposedly smoking in the room so I find this to be misleading and an absolute trap where they don’t mention they would file a criminal complaint if there was smoking in the room when you signed the smoking form that there is no smoking allowed so anyone who thinks about smoking at this motel don’t do it because it’s misleading to not mention in the form you sign stating you understand there’s no smoking while turns out that it’s a trap where if you do smoke or they think you were if you’re going to get a so-called final notice in the mail when it’s the first notice that they’re going to file a criminal complaint if you don’t respond within 10 days which absolutely is also misleading, saying that it’s a final notice it’s all but a trap to have them send you a letter stating there lawyer representatives. His last name is Patel which is not an attorney from what I checked on the IARDC website and it gives a number out of California to call which is a basic VoIP number so be careful with this hotel because they will accuse you of anything about smoking and then threaten you with legal action with a separate lawsuit to claim damages on top of a separate criminal complaint don’t believe it if you get one because it’s just to scare you. Secondly, it’s very very misleading to have somebody fully understand what they’re signing, but then accuse someone of doing something they didn’t do but harass them by mail about filing criminal charges and also going beyond that by sending you a letter from the law from Illinois about smoking and that they’re in compliance with a Hoffman Estates smoking rules which is another absolute lie they are making you believe that if you do smoke and you’re one of those that smoke which I smell marijuana out there all the time that when you get a letter in the mail stating that they’re going to take action on a criminal complaint against you don’t believe it because it’s misleading to make someone believe that it’s just a $200 fine which anything over $300 or more can be considered a criminal complaint for damages when in fact they also didn’t try to charge my card for the so-called damages but send you a letter stating that there is evidence when in fact there wasn’t

Great place to say. Very convenient and free parking. Nice location. Highly recommended. Several food options are nearby to eat. Staff is very friendly. The rooms were very clean and nicely kept. Quite area for good resting time. Snacks were available to purchase at checkin counter. Staff made sure stay was pleasant.
