Stayed two nights at the Days Hotel. This hotel has seen better days. It is in need of major renovations. The rooms were clean but in much need new hardware. The cable TV picture was anything but HD. One of the two elevators has been out of service for almost two months. There was a complimentary continental breakfast. Stay elsewhere.

Going solo to a football game in Champagne-Urbana, I wanted a reasonably priced hotel within a 45 minute drive. Hotel is just off Main Street Danville and it leads to I-74 going either East or West. Being a Wyndham Rewards member, I saw the encouraging name âHotel and Conference Centerâ. No such feel at all â can't believe a group can have a confence here. Review of each facet: Parking â looks newly repaved and striped. Well lit at night. Room â mixed status of renovation. New carpet but bathroom needs work. Had a bathtub but no stopper/plug so took a shower. Water was nice and hot. The bed was comfortable. HVAC worked. Looking for the TV remote, found two bibles â one in each nightstand. Couldnât find the remote so went to the front desk and the clerk was upset because she knew it had been missing in that room and had asked other staff to retrieve it âfrom under the mattressâ. It turns out the remote slipped down between the headboard and the mattress and was on the floor and mostly out of reach. I slid the mattress forward and used the phone to knock the remote to where I could reach it. TV â uses ROKU and strange choices. Lots of stations dedicated to old TV series. If you know your streaming ID and passwords, more was available. I was able to get ESPN via my Comcast user info. But never found access to local TV stations for regular network TV. Dining â the picture on the Wyndham website is of the old bar and grill that is no longer there. Fortunately, it was replaced by a nice local Italian restaurant chain. I ate there on both Friday and Saturday evenings. Very pleased. Elevators â glad my room was on the second floor so I could take the stairs. One elevator still out of order (for over a year ? per other reviews) and the other was sketchy. Breakfast â not available until after 8:00 and the serving area underwhelming. Didnât bother waiting and preferred to hit the road. Staff - tried hard but obviously overworked. I felt sorry for the clerk.

Our room had dust in the bathroom exhaust fan causing it to over heat. The lounge char had black stains when other people had used it. The room smelled like cigarette smoke.

Avoid this place! Itâs horrible. We arrived to find the front desk empty. Clerk came rushing off the elevator and greeted us. We went up to our room and were met with the overwhelming smell of marijuna coming from fhe clerksâ room. We knew was his room because he rode the elevator up and went into that room. Our room was filthy. A chair had grease/sweat stains where the head and hands would be. The shower curtain had mold and the exhaust fan was so clogged with dirt it had a hard time running. The carpet was filthy. One of two elevators was shut down by the Fire Marshall in August. The pool was out of order. The halls were dingy and dirty. The hotel was basically empty but our room was right outside the dumpster which got picked up at 5:30 A.M. There are no table lamps, just bright as can be canned-lights that have one setting: blind you like sunlight. The breakfast was the bright spot, make your own waffles but the seating area was a joke. It was dirty, dated amd had 3 tables. Highly recommend you go elsewhere. This place is filthy and all sorts of violations, especially the high-as-a kite night clerk who said he was the brother of the owner. We think he also lives there.
