The service here was the absolute best. From check-in to check-out, everyone was very professional, kind and helpful. I took advantage of the complimentary car service My drivers George and Guillermo were so kind and courteous. This was my first visit at the Waldorf, but it will definitely not be my last. Oh, and did I mention how beautiful the hotel and the rooms are. The aroma when you first walk into the hotel I is one of the most pleasant aromas that I have ever smelled. Again, I have no complaints. True 5 stars!!!

Floyd at Brass Tack is phenomenal. Hands down made our Chicago visit exceptional. I would come back just to sit at the bar to eat & drink when heās working. His cocktails are so unique & delicious. Thanks for making our Chicago trip memorable!

This was my second stay at the property. My first one was fine but uninspiring, however my most recent stay was exceptional - so nice that it may even challenge my loyalty to the nearby Peninsula! The Arrival and check-in process was seamless. We were immediately greeted and assisted by the friendly valet team and taken to the front desk for check in. We were upgraded to a terrace suite, which was huge. The suite had an amazing view of the John Hancock building and was beautiful but also very comfortable/functional. Extra bottles were sent up, as was an extra refrigerator we requested. After spending three nights prior at Residence Inn in WI, the comfortable bed and bedding were god sent. The Gold Coast is relatively quiet at night and we both slept like babies and didnāt wake up with joint pain. The kindness and thoughtfulness of the spa staff is really what set the Waldorf apart. I ended up purchasing a water bottle - bowl combo for my two dogs. I really wish that I remembers the staff memberās name at the spa but we started talking about my two dogs (Java and Sampson) and their jobs as therapy dogs. I shared their therapy dog trading cards with her. Later on guest services delivered an amenity from the spa and they were these adorable bandanas for Java and Sampson! My wife and I were so touched by the kind gesture and my four legged brothers will wear the bandanas with pride once theyāre groomed! The food and beverage program at the property was good. We ordered a few in room dining items to complement our deep dish pizza we had delivered. Both the salad and burrata were great. The highlight were the grilled prawns, which were perfectly prepared. Breakfast at Brass Track was good the next morning. The only exception was that the chicken sausage was overcooked. I did love the roasted potatoes and the juice/smoothie selection though! After two below average experiences at Conrads in both Tokyo and Osaka,I was a little hesitant to return to a Hilton luxury property. Iām glad that I gave the Waldorf in Chicago another shot. I can honestly say that my visit was on par with some of my favorite stays at other luxury properties around the world! Iām looking forward to return soon!

The entire staff (especially Logan!) was incredibly kind, thoughtful and helpful. You all went above and beyond for anything we needed. It was my daughter's 8th Birthday and everything they did to make her weekend special was just amazing. I will be a lifelong fan of the Waldorf because of my short stay at this hotel!

This is definitely not a five star hotel. Check in was disappointing as it is not the service you would expect from a Waldorf Astoria. The bell man did not help us with our luggage to the room. We stayed in a terrace king with a fireplace, which had a peculiar odor. It smelled strange every time you walked into the room. I had to open the balcony door to get ride of the smell. Our view on the terrace was mostly of a parking garage. The bathroom had blinds that had stains all over them that looked like it was from moisture. The bathtub never had hot water when you tried to take a bath. The sliding doors to the bathroom constantly were ajar. I also visited the spa which is in desperate need of a renovation. There are signs of wear everywhere. The pool water was a horrible color. The steam room was broken too. My massage was fine, definitely not with $240. The entire hotel is very worn looking and needs a refresh. It is not worth $500 a night. The only positive is the location. I would not stay here again.
