I like "my" coffee brand and I travel with it. I messaged the hotel the day before our arrival to ask what type of coffee maker was in the room and received a reply that it was a regular basket style. Awesome! My favorite style of coffee maker (I am not a fan of single cup coffee makers, bad for the environment and not very useful for folks who drink a lot of coffee). However, when we arrived, we were greeted with the latest fab of the single "spit on" coffee maker, plus a brand of coffee that I do not like. I made a call down to the front desk and they/housekeeping managed to find us a leftover regular basket coffee maker. Management, please hold on to a few of these coffee makers for guests such as my family. Our suite, AWESOME. We were in a two bedroom suite, one king, one queen, two bathrooms, nice sitting area, nice kitchen area. Everything was very clean. Housekeeping was top-notch. Room was quiet, staff was friendly and very helpful. Location, great for what we needed. We walked from Union Station to and from the hotel, about a half of a mile. We "Ubered" to Field Museum. We could have walked, less than two miles, but traffic was heavy and it was cold and windy. I am glad we "Ubered". Breakfast. Was good, not great. The staff in the breakfast area were busting their tushes trying to keep up and still had smiles for all. No whole milk available the days we were there, which was a disappointment to me but they did have a variety of other nut milks and lesser % milks and juice/tea/coffee. No bacon, which is not unusual but on various days (we ate breakfast three days), they had soy chorizo and fried rice, hash browns, chicken sausage, turkey sausage, pork sausage, pancakes, waffles, french toast, eggs and egg whites (scrambled), grits and oatmeal as well as pastries, bread items, yogurt and fresh fruit.

Jada at the front desk was extremely courteous and helpful, she upgraded my room to the best room possible and during the entire stay she was very kind and took good care. You have bright future ahead. At night shift too Ben ( i hope that was his name , he was really helpful too ) and lastly the manager Anthony.

A great option for extended stay in the loop. If you need accommodations in the loop with a small kitchen including a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and a small cooktop then this will be the perfect place. The studio room was large and the bathroom was a nice size as well. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. The one complaint I had was housekeeping was a little lacking in the cleanliness of the room. This will not be my first choice when staying one night for business but would not hesitate to stay here again.

I chose this hotel initially for two reasons. It's location and complimentary breakfast. The executive studio which we got has a kitchen with pans and cups and utensils so you could cook or make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. Tea and coffee are complimentary and they restock it. The breakfast is actually the highlight and I couldn't find information about it before so hopefully this review helps others. It has everything. Warm beverages such as coffee and tea including decaf. Cold beverages such as orange juice, some other juice (changes) and chocolate milk. You get an array of fruits such as oranges, bananas, grapes, melons and yogurt. Variety of toast and bagels with jams and cream cheese and Nutella at times. The hot options change daily but here are what we got over 3 days. Hash browna, egg whites, egg yolk, egg omelette, pourage, chicken and pork and soy based sausage, fried rice, cheese roll, DIY waffles, French toast, Canadian turkey bacon and bacon. Apart from the eggs other options rotate and you get roughly 5 of them per day. You also get cereal options if you wanna miss out on all of this. Breakfast opens at 6.30 am weekdays and 7 am weekends. It gets crowded so get in early. You can ask for to go boxes if you wish to eat at your room. On our last day there were also prepackaged bearclae and danishes which was cool. Overall we started each day very satisfied. Room service is great and you can use the app to request what you need. Check in is at 4pm on 2nd floor. If you arrive early they got complimentary luggage storage so you could go explore the city but make sure to go to 2nd floor first to add your name to wait-list. Sometimes if you are lucky they may have the room ready ahead of time. The room it's self is very nice and cozy and you get a little bit of the city view but not much. Another great thing is there a 7eleven right next to the hotel.
