Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown Riverwalk

Enjoyable stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago for the first 3 days of our U.S road trip in September 2024. The Inn is in a great location with most visitor attractions within walking distances. We chose the Garden Inn for our Chicago stay as we have previously used Hilton on past U.S trips for peace of mind guaranteed good service and accommodation.

Room was little small and they renovated and took out full body mirrors in all rooms. I had to stand on top of the toliet seat to see my whole outfit. Bed comfortable. Room very clean. Front desk very pleasant. Bartender William was very nice and talkative. I will stay again. Price was good. Close to plenty places to eat.

We had a lovely stay here. We had no idea it was so close to all thing shopping and more. The staff were all very kind. The hotel and room was clean. The beds could be a little more comfy but it's not a deal breaker. Parking was easy. We will stay again.

Excellent location. Comfortable room with all necessary amenities and everything worked fine. WiFi was free with acceptable bandwidth. As for a standard queen room: AC was a bit harsh, space is limited, view was non-existent (but you can get room with view for extra). Price was acceptable for the location. What about the missing fifth star? Overall the hallways are a bit run down (but the room was nice and clean). First Hilton even where water was not free for a Honors member (they would charge $2 for it after I just paid $2000+). Breakfast selection was kinda limited, and it was expensive — I never tried it. Noticed a bit late that coffee was free.
