Hilton at its finest. Very professional, yet patient, helpful, friendly. Very clean, comfortable, and all amenities working as would be expected. Well-appointed rooms. (Sadly, they are not even as large as some lower-priced brands, but have fancier furniture than many.) Disappointingly, as far as we could tell, there is no free breakfast, even at these rates. We stayed in a basic, clean and comfortable "budget" hotel earlier in the week that offered a free hot breakfast. And we had them at both other Hilton-branded properties last weekend, so why not here? If it IS offered, it was never made clear. Very conveniently located to the airport. VERY security-minded, even to use the elevator. Excellent! Could not figure out how to adjust the HVAC in the room. We wanted a constantly-running fan for "white noise" but could not figure out how to make that happen. One of us snore rather too loudly, and I end up not sleeping well.

Really friendly and professional staff here. Tracy of Hilton GV made us feel welcome. The lobby and public areas of the hotel are bright and clean. Easy access to O’Hare for air and CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) transportation. Starbucks in the lobby :-)

The Good: 1) Super convenient to ORD. can walk to and from terminals. 2) Staff is very friendly, courteous and professional. 3) Clean and attractive decor The Bad: 1). Hotel is a “ one pipe” heating and AC system Entire building has either Heat or Air Conditioning but not both. If you have no heat at 11 pm when you check in, a call to maintenance results in a space heater and an hour before any heat comes out of the room vents. if you plan on arriving late call ahead and ask if they switched the building over obviously spring and fall are most unpredictable 2) Do not judge a “ chicago dog” by what they serve in the bar/restaurant There version is a foot long sub roll abomination with a pound of stuff. you beed a knife and fork. on the good side again. the bar tender was very friendly 3) not all “ airport view” rooms have full view. some have only partial views due to adjacent control tower. ask ahead

We stayed here because we were getting in late after 12 hours on a plane before we flew home to St. Louis. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. First it was $300 for a room that was in drastic need of a remodel. Tons of stains in the main area and tons of mold in the bathroom. The worst part was our room was 80 degrees when we checked in and blowing hot air. I was told that the hotel could have the heat OR the air on. Ugh. We ended up getting a fan that helped a little, but for $300 a night I should have to sleep with a fan on. Stay somewhere else!
