Hampton Inn Majestic Chicago Theatre District

Warren was a fantastic help and gave great recommendations of what to experience in Chicago. Great people working at the front desk to make you feel welcome. The location of the hotel is central and you can easily walk to the river, the lake and other famous attractions.

Our stay at the hotel was nice, and the staff were friendly. The only problems we had were that the elevators are too small and there aren't many of them. This is certainly because of the age of the building. However, there were multiple times we were leaving and had to let 4 full elevator cars go by, and on the way down, you stop at nearly every floor because other people are waiting too. Additionally, the breakfast is your typical hotel continental breakfast...not very good. The staff and the location are what I would go back to this hotel for.

Wonderful location downtown. Staff were super friendly. Very walkable and easy access to public transportation. Just a few blocks from Grant Park. The lobby was being renovated so it was smaller but never felt packed. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Great job, start-to-finish, for our two-night stay. Robyn and Ed at the front desk were helpful, friendly, and competent. They both deserve a shout out, and I am happy to award them both 5 stars for their excellent hospitality. Our room on the 18th floor was quiet with plenty of hot water. And be sure to check out the marble (!!) in the staircases.

bad hotel, avoid, looks nothing like it does on this website to be honest and could do with a major refit. no downstairs reception during late evening and the hotel is very very dated. Stay at the Palmer House hotel which is on the same street and much more luxurious.
