Freehand Chicago

The location is perfect, just a short walk from Michigan Avenue, making it easy to explore the city. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with quirky decor that added a fun touch. We loved grabbing coffee at Café Integral each morning. The only downside was the noise from the street, which made it a bit hard for the kids to sleep at times. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

Hotel was in a great location near the L train to wherever we needed to go. Liked the look of the place and the bed was comfy. Really enjoyed my experience this weekend in Chicago and this hotel was a great himbase to do everything we wanted to do.

This place is a dump! Rooms are the size of a walk in closet, bed fits within the wall width which means my husband has to crawl over me to get to the bathroom during the night. So overpriced! Photo Booth in the lobby explains a lot. Agree with other review; just opening the room door is a workout.

I stayed in a Queen room for 4 nights and enjoyed the whole vibe of the place. Although small and dark, the room was comfortable, clean and had a good shower. I checked in beforehand so upon arrival was just given my key. Great location and most things are within walking distance. Great for the Blue and Red Line trains. Fantastic value for money.

I was in a quad room -- 2 bunk beds, upper and lower. The staff is rude- period. The doors to the rooms weigh 100 lbs and hit you in the bottom if you're not quick. All the lights are so dim -- room, elevator, hallways -- I had to use my cell phone light to see the buttons on the elevator. NO VENT in the bathroom shared by 4 guys !! I should have called the health department. VERY over-priced. Will never recommend that hell hole to my worst enemy.
