Hampton Inn Bloomington West

Stayed in the hotel on the way from Saint Louis to O'Hare airport. The bed was comfortable and I was able to sleep. However, there were a couple of issues that decreased my rating. The cleanliness of the bathroom was lacking. I refer mainly to hair I saw in the bath both on one of the walls and on the shower curtain. The second issue was an annoying noise that seems to be getting from the outside (but it wasn't a car noise). It started for a while and then stopped. I suspect it has to do with the AC unit of a neighboring room. I reported those two issues to reception during check out. She took note of them. Hope they'll deal with both of them. Another small issue to be considered is that the elevator is located on a side of the building, near the higher numbered rooms. I had to walk more than half the corridor to get to my room. The location is convenient. There are a number of restaurants in a 2 mile radius. There is a Wallmart supercenter around 0.6 miles away. The hotel is conveniently located near I-55, but not directly near it, so there are no traffic noises.

This was one of the most pleasant surprises I’ve had of any hotel stay recently. It was more than I anticipated, clean, comfortable, great staff, quiet. It has been recently remodeled. I would definitely stay there again if my travels brought me back to Bloomington.

We were very pleased with our stay. The staff were very friendly and professional. We were warmly greeted and found the room neat and clean. The morning breakfast was professionally prepared and presented. We would definitely stay here again.

that's right, whether it be the recent landscaping the hotel is doing or the new flooring and seating in the breakfast area not long ago, this modern looking jewel on Bloomington's West side takes pride in its appearance and cleanliness. the team is friendly and care about guest comfort and safety. what's more, imagine walking into your room and a personalized welcome message on the [what seems to be 50-inch class] television awaits you - ala Waldorf Astoria. it's obvious ownership at this jewel care about innovation and the guest experience as a whole. beds are the best, goes without saying, thanks for keeping them rotated and fresh. thank you!!

Stayed here while in town for a baseball tournament. The hotel was clean, quiet, rooms were spacious. Breakfast was standard hotel fair, hot and cold offerings. Location made it easy to get everywhere we wanted/needed to go. Staff was friendly, we had a little issue with the air conditioning that they came and took care of immediately. We’d definitely stay here again if in town.
