Im pretty picky when it comes to places and journeys. Just see my precious reviews! But I canāt find a critical thing to say. When I served the person at the desk was very friendly. The room was spotless. The temperature was great. The large TV is the best. Clever little messages in the walls here and there and everything is a great theme. I would stay here again 100%.

Terrible Customer Service. Checked out June 23 and reached out to customer service on June 24. I was sent an email that someone would be in touch within 24 hours. Did not happen. My husband reached out on June 26 and was told the same thing. It did not happen. I've been waiting to write a review in the event that the hotel management reached out. That has never occurred. The front desk clerk was extremely rude. We had a reservation and she would not comply or try to resolve our situation. Finally, and reluctantly, she gave my daughter and I a room, AND charged us a cancellation fee for the current reservation.

I booked 3 rooms at this hotel for 4 nights. To begin with, my bathroom door handle fell off. This was addressed when we checked in with a temporary fix, and then a permanent fix was addressed the next morning. I also pointed out that the toilet leaked and the light on the headboard had fallen off, and was just balanced there. From there, I went downstairs to join my family for dinner. I asked if they had any paper plates, but they were only able to scronge up 6. (I realize that was an "us" issue, not a "them" issue, but paper plates? They have 2 restaurants on site.) For this, we were charged and extra "resort" fee of $5 per night per room! Where was the resort? I spoke with a representative who said the extra fee paid for the "free parking, the weight room and all the other amenities". How is it free if we are paying for it. Over all it was not the worst hotel I stayed at, but for the money I paid, I expected more!! It gave me the feeling of "in its hayday - it was a great hotel."

This was my second time staying here and I loved it both times! This time I stayed here with my daughter and everyone was so genuinely welcoming and pleasant. Claudia at the front desk was very helpful and personable, as was Ken, (I'm not sure what department he's in but he was there as well and extremely hospitable.) Let me not leave out Jen from the front desk as well for going above and beyond. As someone who's worked in hospitality in Chicago hotels for many years, It's very nice to be the GUEST and be treated well. I upgraded for a 2 room suite and my daughter loved it, and I highly doubt she nor I will want to stay anywhere else in the future. The GM and HR people have done an amazing job in recruiting people who really enjoy what they do and it shows.

My biggest reason for the low rating is because of the cleaning crew trying to rush us out in the morning and also having loud conversations in the hallway. We left our room around 7:30am to get breakfast and a woman who was cleaning the room next to ours followed us to the elevator and asked if we were checking out. We told her we weren't and we had left the "do not disturb" sign on our door. When we returned, there were more cleaners on the floor, and they were shouting back and forth to each other while they worked. Luckily, we weren't sleeping in. Then when we did leave for the day, an hour before check-out, a man in the hallway asked if we were checking out and for our room number. The woman who followed us to the elevator then popped out of a room and told him our room number. While I understand, they probably had a lot of rooms to clean, guests should not feel like they are an inconvenience, especially when they leave well before check-out. My other reason for the low rating is that the restaurant has a limited menu and a terrible wine selection, so we ended up leaving the hotel for dinner. The restaurant and bar were also closed in the afternoon and only offered a buffet for breakfast. We also left for breakfast and ordered Uber Eats for lunch. I wish I would have waited to book closer to our stay. There were plenty of rooms available and at a lower rate than I secured by booking in advance. The location was convenient with being attached to the convention center that had an event we were attending, and the hotel was clean, but otherwise I would not recommend staying here.
