Overall fine, the lobby area could have been kept up better stairs needed vacuuming. Waste basket lids needed wiping. Bed was comfortable. Usual hotal breakfast. Cute little bar. Great seafood restaurant across the street. Right by the river.

I think that Stoney Creek is the best hotel in a 100 mile radius. You guys deliver it for location, hospitality, convenience and price. It's a great place to close proximity to or the casino right on the riverfront. There are some nice trails to walk down there. Nice little bar to sit and have a few drinks afterwards. A great fish House right next door to you + you know plush rooms with all the amenities just off the chain.

There was the rudiest employee working the desk, I took my young kids to the pool, there was a guy with a cooler full of beer, I told the rude desk clerk, she said she would take care of it, we went back down to pool an hour later, and it was not taken care of drunk guy, with cooler full of beer was still there in the pool area. When we got to the room, the toliet was running, and I called the front desk, she tried to fix the toliet, but it started running water again, I called back down to the front desk, rude lady, told me she was the only one on duty at the hotel, and she could not move me to another room, WE ended up leaving the hotel after only staying in room for three hours. this was due to dirty room, noise of running toliet, and drunk guy in the pool. The hotel was also having a party, and I did not feel safe. We I went down to the desk and told the lady we were leaving she called me a bitch. If you want to not feel safe, and have a dirty room, and a drunk guy in the pool area, looking at your children then this is the place to stay. NEVER AGAIN.

Are you looking for a place to get loud and smoke Marijuana with your fellow tattoo covered friends? Hey, they don't call it "stoney" creek for nothing (wink, wink, smile)! You will enjoy outdated rooms, complete with paper thin walls, barking little yippee dogs, an uncomfortable bed, and no maid service. In the morning you will be treated to a crappy breakfast, attended to by a very unhappy employee, she will make you feel very unwelcome! Enjoy your stay!

Ok here's the deal from yours truly, a frequent motel stayer: I should've just booked a motel. Motels have a bad rep but for the purposes of laying your head somewhere for a night, they get the job done just fine. I wanted to try something a little nicer this go round and what a complete disappointment! The hotel itself is very lovely. I love the rustic vibe, very cute. Clean enough environment, and the room was really nice! I'm not a huge stickler for cleanliness like some other folks here in these reviews. As long as, at an initial sweep, all looks kosher - then I'm happy. My issue really came down to service. At check-in I was helped by a rather rude woman who, after telling me to wait a moment (no prob) then, started barking things at me and got annoyed when I didn't realize she was speaking to me. The rest of the check-in went... coldly. Coldly inandsofar as that woman was concerned but then! Another employee appears at the counter, talking to the other workers. Oh joy, maybe he will be hospitable! Oh .. oh no.. he's cursing. Oh wow he's... he's cursing a lot. Now, I curse like a sailor in my own time, when talking to friends and family. That's fine, but when I'm already having an unimpressive experience with this check-in, to suddenly start hearing f-bombs and n-words so carelessly thrown around by an employee directly in front of a line of guests was WILD. I don't know why he thought that was ok. I wasn't told anything about my stay. It was "Name 😒 ok card for incidentals 😒 {insert man appearing and cursing loudly} ok here room 203 😒". Really pleasant. Wasn't sure if the pool I'd seen outside was something I was allowed to use, didn't know if there was complimentary breakfast or when it would be the next morning, didn't know anything as I wasn't told anything. I wasn't super inclined to ask any questions either, as the lady at the desk was a real peach and my existence in her place of work seemed to be bothering her greatly. Like I said up top, room was nice - no notes. Breakfast, which does in fact exist, was small but nicer than your average motel selection. Glad I didn't miss it, still have no idea when that starts or ends. My typical motel rating sits at a 3, unless I'm particularly impressed. Motels are motels, you know what you're signing up for and you're paying less for an understood less hotel-y experience. This, I've given a 2 - 1 for the nice room, 1 for the nice breakfast, and negative 3 for bizarre service. Even at the Super 8 they tell you when breakfast is and are friendly at check-in. I mean, come on. The bar is low. And for over $150 I certainly expected the bar to be crossed.
