Deceptive pet fee policy. The website says $10 pet fee per night, but they actually charge $10 PER pet which is not disclosed. Otherwise everything else was great. The room was clean, the bed & pillows were comfortable and the staff was nice.

We were only going to stay in CDA for a night and hotel rooms were stupid expensive. Case in point, we paid $175 to stay at a Quality Inn. Now I’m not a fussy person, we don’t stay at fancy hotels - I just need a clean place to lay my head. I was optimistic about this Quality Inn because it had decent reviews and it’s in CDA. Sadly, it wasn’t good. Location: right off the highway, easy to find. No where close to the parts of CDA you want to visit. Staff: The young lady at the front desk was delightful (manager if you’re reading this, I believe her name started with an M and she wears elaborate eye makeup). She was super pleasant & friendly. Hallway/Room. Dated (which is fine) but our room had a weird odor. We opened a window thinking it just needed to air out but it didn’t help. In hindsight, I think it might have been the carpet. The hotel is dog friendly and I’m guessing more than one dog had marked their territory in the room. It was the type of smell that kinda sticks in your nose. Speaking of dogs, there were 2 dogs that were pretty vocal. I’m a sound sleeper so it didn’t bother me but light sleepers would be annoyed with it. The bed: The sheets were scratchy and the bed was comically lumpy. If someone sat on the bed, the mattress stuffing would visibly shift. It was so bad.

I stayed at this Quality Inn from 11/25/23 - 3/27/24 on business. This was my first time in Idaho. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself was clean. Once I entered my room everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable. The housekeeping staff was friendly and attentive. They always accommodated my requests without hesitation. The laundry room and gym was always clean. Restaurants were close by. It was a great stay and I would definitely come back!!

Very clean, the staff is professional, friendly, attentive to guests needs. Also, staff very knowledgeable of area attractions. Location is perfect. Stay here 3-4 times a year when visiting family and grandchildren in the area. In walking distance from really great restaurants.

Old hotel showing its age despite newish paint & carpet. Friendly & responsive staff. Room had an old shoe /wet dog smell not sure if it was the curtain or heating unit but despite the odor the surfaces were clearly wiped down & clean. Nice breakfast & hotel.
