La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Boise Towne Square

If you have feral children, pets, a diet of bottom-tier corporate fast-food, Fox News and Reality TV, along with similarly low consumerist expections in general, this venue is for you. The guests (w/children) above us were stomping around at 330AM... awful! This is absolutely not a quiet venue, nor is it very clean. Considering the demographic I observed, I wouldn't trust the pool or spa). This venue was chosen for us: it was a very poor choice, indeed. It reminded me of the Aberdeen Motel 6.

Very disappointed with this trip. The lady up front was extremely accommodating, but unfortunately the cleanliness of the rooms was just absolutely disappointing. Between the smell of animal urine & the hair in the beds & clogging the shower drain, it was not ideal.

The cleanliness of this property has deteriorated over time. General upkeep and maintenance have fallen below normal standards. This used to be my go to property in Boise. I hope that they can bring back the quality of not only this property but the chain that used to make Wyndham Hotels a pleasant experience. I was promised an amenity I didn’t receive upon arrival, changed rooms because of a bad odor, and then the next room the closet doors wouldn’t open. Third room was ok, but the property needs better attention.

I reserved online and payed and requested 2 extra pillows as we would be staying after a major shoulder surgery and driving home the next day, upon arrival we found the front desk girl to be extremely cold and rude, not welcoming or helpful at all. I never received a receipt for the room, and was told that the room was not ready and to come back in 45 minutes. This was at 4pm, check in is at 3pm and an early checking is an extra fee as well as a late check out. But we were well within the checking hour. When I inquired about the 2 extra pillows, I was told I could grab them at the front desk when I returned. I found the sofa in the room was extremely broken down to sit on and just sank into it making it very had to get out of. The bathroom fan did not work at all and clearly the bedroom had not been vacuumed and was very stained. As well as no cups or glassed at the bathroom sink.

This hotel is very conveniently located for medical appointments and shopping. It was very quiet and clean which was wonderful after the stress of several doctor appointments. The staff were friendly and quick to assist with our request for extra towels and face cloths. We have stayed here before and will most likely stay again in the future.
