Amber Inn Motel

Please steer clear of this motel, dish TV doesn't work, internet service is in and out. Rooms are outdated. Drive by and keep moving from this motel-hell. If your blind and deaf, it's perfect for you.

We needed a place to stay on the way home from Vegas and we found this little gem. Arrived around 10:30pm and the female staff member was friendly and quick. Asked if we had a reso we said no but she found a room. The room/building was older but adequate , as were the beds but comfy as well as the nice pillows. Flat screen tv , mini fridge and microwave were nice features as was the phone (from the 90's) Shower was decent and there was enough towels for the three of us and it only cost $75. If you are travelling through Idaho and get to Bliss around dinner time this is the place to stay.

Room was far from adequate and location seemed unsafe. Door handle was broken and door dragged on the floor, making it difficult to open and close. Room seemed dirty. and very outdated. Parking lot was gravel and dusty. No restaurant close by. Seemed like the motel had not been updated in decades.

Not worth half the low price they charge. We couldn't get the water to turn on in the shower, no answer when I called the front desk to ask how to make the shower run water. And no stopper in the sink. Only one stained washcloth for the double queen room, looked unclean. Room was hot and stuffy upon our arrival, with no change after running the very loud air conditioner non-stop all night. No smoke alarm nor sprinklers. Dangerous. No molding around the door to our room, could see light all around the door. The deadbolt lock was nonfunctional, plastered over. Beds OK, though barely. Unhelpful staff when I rang the buzzer and woke him up at 7:00 a.m to ask for some refund. Better to sleep in your car and wash up at a gas station bathroom.

This was a great little place to stop at. We were running out of truck hours and it was too hot to stay in truck. Plenty of truck parking, great showers, comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice place to eat next door. It is older yes, but definitely worth the money. Thank you for a great stay.
