MainStay Suites Coralville Iowa City

My husband & I stayed at Mainstay 4-16-17-2025 to attend a family memorial. Our room was clean and neat with many amenities. The large refrigerator (not apartment size) was great and we were able to use the freezer to keep our ice blocks frozen a plus! They also had a dishwasher & stove. The hotel provided paper towels, dish soap, silverware, plates & cups/glasses as well as a coffee maker & pot and pans. What was unusual for me was at the front desk you could also obtain larger appliances (blender, crockpot, etc.) Beside the basic kitchen stuff there was a laundry basket, ironing board & iron which again is great for longer stays. We didn't use but it's really nice. This hotel thought of everything if you were planning to stay longer than a couple days. What a great set up! At the reception desk the gentleman was friendly and answered all of our questions. The breakfast area was nice & well kept. They offered scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage patties, juices, two waffle makers along with the assorted breads, muffins, oatmeal, etc. With all the amenities that are include it was a much better value than the other hotel choices in town. I would definite stay again if we were in Coralville, IA.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. When checking in Silky was extremely helpful with what was in the area and the amenities of the hotel . Hot breakfast was delicious. Cereal, pastries, waffles, eggs, potatoes and sausage. Breakfast area was clean and inviting. Rooms are clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Kitchen includes pans,silverware, cups, paper towels and dish soap, toaster and coffee maker. In the lobby were other appliances you might need blender, crock pot etc. Hot water takes a little while to get to the shower when started but gets nice and hot. Pleasantly surprised with this hotel and would definitely stay again.

I stayed here multiple time for my business trip. very convinetant location from Interstate -80 .Clean,comfortable,quite extended stay choice property. staff was so helpful and friendly. Will stay here again in future.

This is my 2nd extended stay here. The hotel rooms are extremely comfortable, clean, and modern, and contains kitchen area, bathroom obviously, etc. Bed is very comfortable. Price is reasonable, especially in the slow times of the year. Highly recommend this place.
