Very peaceful place to stay. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle and crowds and concrete of Honolulu then this is the place to stay. Excellent views, excellent service, excellent amenities. You will need a car to get here, but you will want a rental car to explore Oahu anyway. Plenty of things to do nearby.

This was a horrific stay from start to finish. Our room was a total misrepresentation and certain staff members were absolutely awful to my wife and I. When we called after forgetting something in the room they said they’d set aside our important documents and the male behind the desk accused my wife of lying to the point we had to get the call reviewed which was recorded. Absolutely disgraceful. All in all, a shambles and I’d avoid at all costs.

Paradise Bay is in a decent location that has a nice view. Inside the rooms you're provided a kitchen, fridge, microwave, hotplate (at least in our room), utensil, plates and bowls so everything you need to make a meal. The beds were comfortable for the most part along with having A/C in the room. For our room we had a nice deck that looked out to the ocean. As for things to do there it's not a lot but there's a pool and kayaks. The resort does have a dryer and washing machine room. As for the staff, the staff is absolutely helpful and very friendly Dalton, Lucky, and Pua were particularly very helpful with everything. As for some of the negative experiences the shower handle kept coming off along with the towel racks constantly breaking off, we also had a minor ant infestation in the kitchen but keep in mind the resort is on the country side so it's bound to happen. Lastly the parking might be the worst part about the resort as there's no designated parking, the parking lot and spaces are really small and tight. In the end it's not the worse resort I've stayed at and would maybe stay there again.

Paradise Bay Resort is sadly neither a Resort nor a Paradise, though it is located near a Bay. This run down motel is perched on a steep sidehill overlooking a shallow muddy lagoon that leads to a shallow muddy Bay. No one is ever seen swimming in either the mangrove lagoon or the bay. Nothing here is “complimentary” as you pay an additional daily “Resort” fee of $47. The breakfast, was far from a breakfast. The kayaks & SUPs were in rough condition, one SUP was half full of water and had broken fins, so near impossible to paddle. There is no restaurant, no room service, no bar, no nearby restaurants. The only activity is an overpriced boat ride to snorkle a murky reef and walk on a sand bar for $80 per person. One day we left our room to find the entire building of rooms beside the lobby covered in a fumigation tent … no mention of it by the hotel, no note in our room. Just the front desk staff wearing masks . Bizarre.

Wonderful location away from the touristy Waikiki area exactly what we were expecting to connect with nature and relax. Friendly and attentive staff, especially Pua who welcomed us like ‘ohana and made sure we had what we needed, Uncle Danny weeknight ukulele playing and talk story added to the feeling like we were home, kayak/snorkel equipment rentals included in the stay was so convenient- we paddled with sea turtles on Christmas Day and it was magic, enjoyed the hot tub soak after a day of sightseeing and visiting family, and enjoyed coffee each morning while looking out over the water
