We had just driven for 12 hours from Florida and were ready for some sleep. Checking in requires signing a booklet describing all the things the motel is not responsible to provide, as well as an itemized list of all the things that they can charge you for such as $5.00 for not turning in your room key/card when checkung out. Got to the room and the air conditioning unit did not work. Tried to call the front desk and the phone did not work. Carried our luggage back to the front desk and asked for another room, where we were told that we could not have another room until maintenance looked at the unit. In addition, the phone system was under repair and would not be operational. We waited for maintenance to get out of bed, dressed, and meet us in the lobby. We carried our luggage back upstairs to watch maintence confirm that the the unit did not work. We carried our luggage back to the lobby for maintenance to confirm to the front desk that the unit did not work. There were no more king bed rooms, but they had a room with two double beds. We did not want two double bebs, so we asked for a refund. Front desk said that could not give a refund. After, calling Baymont corporate, we were told that they would open an incident report, but they could not give a refund. After a spirited discussion, the front desk offered a phone number and name of their general manager, and we could call tomorrow to get a refund. We spent two days trying to contact the GM with no success. We are now disputing the charges with our credit card company. I will sleep in the freeway median before I stay at a Baymont motel.

Very clean, affordable, and about to have a mall right next door. This could be the best hotel in Valdosta. Incredibly pet friendly; big fields on two sides for walking/running. Clean and affordable deserve a second mention. Breakfast was solid for free hotel food, and every one of the staff members I interacted with was very nice. Exit18 look like new hotel out look nice inside room new next door choice hotel don't stay it s bed not good tv not work not good service. Baymont Inn tv 55"

This hotel looks nothing like pictures online. yes they are trying to renovate it but the thing that got me was light beige blankets and all had black nasty stains on them. so I went and ask for clean and got them back to room to find those had big black stains as well. Floor was terribly dirty not mopped if you walked your feet turned black. tub had hairs. had one wash cloth had to ask for another one. Just completely gross me out. Good part was we did have new big tv and new furniture. NEVER again !!!

I HAVE NOT CHECKED IN YET, BUT WHOEVER I SPOKE TO ON THE PHONE WAS RUDE AND HUNG UP ON ME WHILE I WAS STILL ASKING QUESTIONS! IF IT WERE NOT TOO LATE I WOULD CANCEL AND MOVE ON! I HOPE THIS IS NOT THE CASE OF YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR FOR THIS HOTEL! AND IF YOU ARE NOT A PEOPLE PERSON QUIT!

The room was filthy. The refrigerator rattled, the microwave smelled like feces, the bathroom was disgustingly dirty, a space heater sat on the night stand between beds, no hand soap, no bedspreads, curtains didn’t fit the window and patched holes in the walls. We were in the room for 15 minutes and then checked out.
