Spark by Hilton Savannah South I 95

Bed and bedding was comfortable. They had a bagel bar with cereal, ect., included for breakfast as well. Breakfast bar was maintained and very clean. Room was dated with a few new items. If you are looking for a good place to stay the night cheap, this is it.

We booked this hotel because it had ev charging and was pet friendly. When we arrived to the hotel, neither was true. The ev chargers were not installed and therefore not usable, and after paying a $50 pet charge we were told we couldn’t leave him in the room alone making it impossible for us to go out for dinner. We were met with a poor attitude and told to leave by the manager when we complained about these two issues. He thought it was appropriate that they were advertising ev chargers that didn’t work…

This place is not clean. Spend the extra $50 to get a clean room in a clean hotel so you can get a good night sleep. The first room we were in the floor was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned from the prior guests and the bathroom and not been properly cleaned and sanitized. There was a bug on the ceiling I had to kill. I let the manager know and he was accommodating and moved us to a new room. That room was also dirty and had mold in the shower. The entire hotel was dirty. I’ve stayed at other super 8’s and they have been very clean. This one fell short. There are many other options around, so my recommendation is to find a clean place to stay. I’m only giving this 2 stars because the manager was trying to be helpful and accommodating to our needs.

I would rate my stay at this motel as poor. The floor was dirty, the tub was not clean. The bathroom in general needed a good remodel. It looked like someone got angry at the AC unit on the wall, as the grill was busted out. I would not expect to pay nearly $100 for a room like this.
