Hampton Inn Ringgold Ft. Oglethorpe

Hampton Inn has been at the top of the hotel chain for years, or so I thought. The hallways and stairwells were discussing. Unfortunately the breakfast was average. I was thankful the front desk staff were helpful. We will not stay at this hotel again.

The room was clean, spacious, and appeared to have been recently updated. We had a king studio with sofa bed and it was very nice. We were very pleased when housekeeping stopped by to ask if we needed to exchange towels or empty the trash. Based on our room and housekeeping experience, I would rate 5 stars. Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing. The selection was poor. They had oatmeal but no toppings. They had no pastries or plain bagels.

We stayed here once in September 2023 and found many of the reviews online as mostly sour grapes. We booked a stay for 4 days in October 2024 and saw the minute I walked into the lobby that improvements were underway in the form of new floors. We requested a fourth floor room and received one. Low and behold, the flooring was new as well as the rooms all new and very nice ! We had such a good stay we just returned home from a 3 day December visit to the Hampton Inn Ringgold Georgia for the Ringgold Christmas parade. The flooring was complete throughout the hotel as well as most of the rooms being redone and new. We'll definitely be back next year.

Stayed 9/14 and got covered with bed bug bites. GM promised to refund room price, which he did, then a few days later, I WAS CHARGED BACK FOR THE ROOM. Front desk staff totally supportive and understanding. Totally untrustworthy management.

Hotel is old, they are remodeling upper floors but they aren’t open yet. Toilet bubbled and burped throughout the night. Beds are saggy. Husband went to get breakfast and dead bugs came out of dispenser with his orange juice. We went to Wendy’s for breakfast.
