La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Savannah Airport Pooler

Stayed at this very address in Feb of 2024 (last year). Enjoyed our stay and found the property nice so we decided to stay this year. Big change! Appears to be under new (bad) management. They are doing construction which causes a mess but the part that was already done is really still messy. The carpet in the hallway had a big stain by the door. There were paint stains everywhere. The room was ok but cheaply done. It will look worn very fast. The TV was non-functional (doesn't take much to have a working TV) and the desk guy (who was very professional and helpful) had to come fix it. Sad to see a place go downhill in a short period of time.

We enjoyed our stay. The gentleman who checked us in was super friendly and he recommended a great restaurant. The rooms were newly renovated. I would definitely stay here again. I usually look for a La Quinta when I travel with my dogs because I know the rooms will be nice.

This is our third time staying at this La Quinta on our way to Florida. It’s comfortable, convenient, the staff is nice and it’s pet friendly. Part of it has been recently renovated, and it needed updating, but for the life of me I can’t figure out why there is a huge wooden backdrop, with cut outs for plugs, on the wall - perfect to mount a flat screen TV on - but there’s no TV, and the man at the front desk said there’s no plan to put a TV there. There’s a comfy couch facing this mystery backdrop, perfect for watching TV! There’s a smallish TV on a stand across from the bed. They missed an opportunity to really improve the stay. If you stay here, there’s a good Italian restaurant, Lovezolla’s, within walking distance.

Friendly checkin. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is undergoing some refurbishment. In our room the furniture, with the exception of the bed which was very comfortable, was in very worn condition and needed badly to be replaced. We skipped the free breakfast, available at 7:00 AM and not before, too late for those of us looking for an early start of the day.

If you travel with pets I can’t recommend them highly enough! Cat and dog treats offered free at the front desk. Many other guests with pets so are very understanding. Standard breakfast fare, nothing fancy, but a great value and really reduces the stress of traveling with pets. Online booking was fast and easy.
