The place is basic, clean, and gets the job done. Decent restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Ms. Tracy, a staff member, was always friendly and made my stay pleasant. I appreciated the warm service and convenient location, which made my trip easier.

The photos and description with which they promote this place are not recent. Arriving at the hotel we saw several workers working on the roof and security âdo not crossâ tape in the parking area near the main entrance. The hotel entrance is not welcoming or pleasant. It has a short corridor where perhaps 3 people pass through. Near the reception window is a second door that gives access to the hotel rooms (using the room key for access that sticks and after a few tries may or may not open). Inside the reception space there was an open door where bedding could be seen in heaps lying on the floor next to the washing machines. The girl at the counter was very friendly and told us that they were ârenovatingâ the hotel. She gave us the keys to the room and a sheet with 26 rules and 18 regulations of the hotel! Here are 2 of them: Regulations # 11 âManagement reserves the right to enter and inspect guest rooms at anytimeâ Rule # 13 âYou cannot be outside your room without being fully clothed, including shirt & shoes.â We have traveled for 32 years throughout the USA, Europe, the Caribbean, Central and South America; this was the first time that weâve ever received paperwork of this nature. Upon reading it made us think - âWhat kind of hotel are we staying in?â The room: ⢠It was clean but had a strong smell of bathroom disinfectant. ⢠Very noisy refrigerator ⢠There were 2 microwaves: one new, uninstalled, and another, already installed, ol old, rusted and disgusting. ⢠Cooktop range was equally disgusting. ⢠Some kitchen cabinets did not have doors. ⢠Narrow, poor-quality mattresses. ⢠Cheap polyester bedding set. ⢠Uncomfortable pillows (with stained pillowcases) ⢠Noises can be heard through the paper-thin walls. Music in the parking lot, music from the neighbor, footsteps upstairs, loud discussions, etc. ⢠The air conditioner was as loud as a plane turbine (we definitely turned it off) ⢠Bathroom was ok, and it has good water delivery in the shower. ⢠We had no cleaning service during the 2 nights we spent in the hotel. Internet: Laptop access was difficult and once connected â it was slow. The website advertises that if you want faster service you must pay for it. A second Laptop, by the way, requires a fee for the slow service. The first night, the music in the parking lot could be heard in our room until a guest shouted - through the window - "Turn down the volume!" That same night the next-door neighbor's music played until around 4 am. The next morning, while we were reporting our neighbor's noise, paramedics suddenly arrived in an ambulance and carried a person on a stretcher through the crowded corridor. This event surprised us; it is a novelty that we must add. The second night we continued suffer music until midnight and around 3 am the next-door neighbor was heard in a heated argument with a woman. To top it off, before 7 am we were awakened up by the noise of workers on the roof. Terrible! We decided to leave the hotel even though we had paid for 4 nights. When we handed over the keys, we told the person at the counter the reason we were leaving and would check into another, better hotel. Without looking at us or getting up from the chair she just told us "I'm sorry." For a couple of dollars more we stayed at a much nicer hotel a few miles away. The experience at this place has been the worst we have had in our lives! We suggest that you do not get carried away by the facade of the hotel which has nothing to do with its interior. Find another place and flee from this unpleasant place.

This hotel is terrible!! stay away!!! roaches everywhere crawling around in the room on the walls bathtub. the most unwelcoming lobby ever you just walk in to a desk and a phone on the wall because no one was at the desk...you have to call and wait until someone shows up. This lobby had nowhere for anyone to sit which is important if you like me have a disability and cannot stand for long. This made the check in so much worse. The Manager was not welcoming at all! She took 25 mins to check us in no friendly demeanor at all very only asked your name while she should have been updating us on what was going on did not say anything until she finally got the papers to print and barely explained what she was asking us to sign. Then stated no refunds, also housekeeping only happens once a week and you have to take out your own trash (not tripping about that) We went to the room the hallway smelled like neckbones I guess someone was cooking. Upon opening the door we were greeted with roaches!! crawling on the sink. the walls, the bathroom. I began to itch all over we left immediately went to the desk where she was and was on her phone with a PERSONAL video call while we were telling her we could not stay in a roach infested room. I told her I took pictures but she dismissed them and said she believed me. She already knew there was a roach infestation at this place ..being that she was the Manager I found out I was baffled. I knew I had to leave. Luckily Hotels.com took care of my stay at a cleaner nicer hotel that was miles ahead. This place needs to be condemned unprofessional unclean and infested. I saw people coming back in the hotel as I was leaving with raid and cleaning products. No one should live like that!

I would like to give my guy John Matthews a huge thanks. Very helpful. I only stayed one night. However his conversation and knowledge of the hotel was wonderful. He will definitely be the General manager somewhere.
