Tru by Hilton Lithia Springs GA

Horrible hotel! Rented a room and got there and they said they didn’t have rooms and we were out of luck. Had to drive around for over an hour in middle of night to find another hotel. The guy at the front desk was no help at all. Bad way to do business!

Where to start with this Hilton mess? First, it's successful in this location. And it's hard to argue with current success, except the knowledge every design element of "Tru" will age like chicken gravy. Wow! A pool table 2-4 guests can use at a time while the actual pool closes at 9. Wow! There's no natural place to pull your car for checkin and people randomly stand outside. Wow! The front desk was pitch dark and our check-in agent was as friendly as... the same gravy. Great! Ice cold coffee on offer 24/7. Gee! Protruding random room features that catch your elbows until you learn the obstacle course. Yay! A $10 per room key deposit many likely forget, increasing daily room rate for the hotel. All this plus cramped rooms with 3/10 grade furnishings. The lobby looks like something Planet Fitness ate and regurgitated. This is a slapped together wreck which is not durable and it's going to look like trash in a few years - or less. This will not age well, and that's the TRUth. We are easy hotel customers and this is awful. Whoever the GM is here, they need help.

Don't get an even number room! You will be on the street side and hear ever big 3 factory performance car, every diesel truck,and every truck with bigger tires. The staff won't not change my room, other than that it's a new hotel. Don't get an even number room! I was in rm 230

Preparing for a recent business trip (with a lil leisure mixed in), I struggled trying to find a location that didn't have excessive poor reviews in the area. I finally decided on this location and was so glad that I did. This hotel is very clean, the staff were warm and welcoming and the entire hotel was well kept. I stayed in room 201 which was awesome as it was the very last room on the 2nd floor and was super quiet. The cooked breakfast included was more than adequate and again, the staff were very helpful during breakfast being served. Additionally, the hotel was not too far from Six Flags being a short 10min drive away for those looking for a good place to stay with family. For all the bad reviews you may have seen on this establishment, I'm here to inform you that I've traveled the globe many times over and have stayed at some really disgusting locations, but this is NOT one of them. I give this particular Tru location 5 stars. Thank you to all the staff who were amazing during our stay.

Lady who worked upfront in the evening and gentleman who worked upfront in the morning were both hostile, standoffish and very un-eager to help. People were slamming doors until two in the morning. There were sketchy people allowed to hang out in the lobby for hours. Did not feel safe at all.
