Motel 6 Dalton GA

We were traveling from Ohio to Georgia to visit family. Stopped at this motel 6 around 1am to get some rest after 9hrs of driving. This place is disgusting and if I was Motel 6 corporate I’d be embarrassed to offer this place as a clean place to stay. We left in less than an hour and was told our a refund would be on our card in one hour. We’ll, it’s 8:56am and no refund. If your looking for a decent clean place to stay, try Econolodge across the street maybe it’s nicer than this monstrosity.

First, I've traveled all over the USA and have stayed at more than dozens of Motel 6 sites over the past 30 years. This is BY FAR the worst I've ever encountered. Leaking shower head at threaded attachment when water running. Unable to turn off shower completely. TVs in both rooms were fuzzy and snowy displays. A/C fan did not turn off automatically when reaching temperature. Gap in entry-way door. Window curtains did not fully cover window. Most uncomfortable beds in any M6 I've ever slept in. Front desk person was very nice, but ultimately totally unhelpful. Beds on sheet-metal platforms sounded like drums at the slightest movement. Floors were not clean. Had to run a wet towel over floor to clean it.

My room was dirty, and didn’t look like it had been cleaned for a long time. I would only stay here as a last resort. Not sure, but when I turned down one bed, it may have been slept in. I will attach a picture. The shower has mold. I’ll attach another pic. Noise from highway. Water barely dribbles out of shower head. Yes, I did use the shower. No shampoo provided.

An object that druggys use fell out when I went to pull the sheets back, sheets had hair and dirt on them, under the beds were empty chip bags, cigarette butts, cereal, and bathroom was not clean and smelt horrible as well as the room, I definitely would not waste money on ever going back again!!!

The price that you pay for this location is great and affordable when compared to other Motel 6 locations. Its location is a great way to stop between SFoG and/or Dollywood. Sleep was excellent, and the staff was very friendly.
