The hotel lobby and breakfast area were shabby and not as pictured on their website. The rooms were shabby, with stains on the couch. There were barely enough seats for our one group of 18 to eat, not taking into account the other guests in the hotel. The lobby and breakfast area were small. When our group had a problem with the room reservation (the fault of the group reservation coordinator), they were unable to correct it. My group member was overcharged for three extra nights and they are still trying to get that corrected (though we tried twice to get it corrected on site). My refrigerator was not plugged in on arrival, and grocery items I stored in there the first night were ruined. The next morning, the night reception person (Raj) quickly fixed the problem, but too late to save my groceries. He seemed to know that it was unplugged and that was the problem before even coming in the room. The refrigerator should have been running and cold upon arrival, not unplugged. The heat unit smelled bad when I turned it on, a strong chemical kind of smell. I had to turn it off. The hallways smelled strange sometimes, like strongly-spiced food. There were two dogs barking loudly in a room on the second floor when I was checking in. I asked if that was allowed, and they said the guest had left the dogs in the room. (There was no offer to remove the dogs from the premises, though I asked what they were going to do about it.) I asked to be moved to a room far from the barking dogs. There was a person with a large dog that made me feel uncomfortable as well. I prefer hotels without animals. I asked for my room to be cleaned after the first three days, and it was not done as I requested. I had to ask again, in the evening, before the service was completed. The coffee was consistently terrible, with grounds all in the bottom of the pot. I had to go elsewhere for my coffee each morning, and I am not even picky about coffee. I ate breakfast there one morning, and it was just so-so. I only ate there the first morning of a six-night stay. The reception staff were friendly, and helpful. They allowed our group of 18 to use the breakfast area at night to eat our catered food. There was no gathering area large enough for our group to meet in the mornings, We had to stand around the small lobby. There were frequently people coming in (looked like contract workers) carrying their belongings in sacks, congregating in the hallway, and lobby. It made me feel unsafe, although I did not have any issues while staying there. One evening I came down to get something out of my car, and there was a truckload of people outside in the parking lot, construction workers, wearing rough construction clothing, with construction equipment (drywall mudding) in the back. There were two very young women with them dressed very nicely, and that seemed an odd combination, especially since it was late at night. I thought about reporting suspected human trafficking. My shower was not cleaned completely on arrival (small amount of hair on the shower floor and soap shelf), and the toilet seat was up. Except for the bathroom minor problems, the room was clean . Sheets were clean, and bed was comfortable. The shabbiness and out-of-place-looking clientele made me feel uncomfortable and wondering what was going on. The staff were very accommodating but unable to fix problems like barking dogs in guest rooms. I did not think the rate we paid was appropriate for the quality of the lodging and food service.

We stay at the Comfort Suites on 4/28 and check out on the morning of 4/29 the breakfast bar was cold and there was all kind of noise all night. We told them about all of this the morning we check out. We got our credit cards statements today and they charge us $250.dollars for smoking in the room I call them and told them we donât smoke. They told me that we smoke in the room the day that we check out I told them that we donât smoke and they said they know we smoke in the rooms and at what time we did it . I ask them now do they know this and was told that they got their way. Donât trust the people and donât use there Hotels you will get rip off.

The âpetâ fee was atrocious! First I was told $15 per pet per day, but when booked it was $35 per pet per day!! Outrageous!! For what exactly? The outlet in the bathroom didnât work, the sink stopper wouldnât come back out after rinsing out something. i couldnât figure out how to get the alarm clock to work. The room phone didnât work.. The toilet was very old and low to the ground and it clogged up and I had to plunge it. The front desk clerk, Ashley was wonderful!! The breakfast was very good. Different everyday. Handy to the hospital! Needs some work done to bring up to the standard of other hotels in the area.

We had a clean room and a good night's sleep, and were glad that Comfort Suites is pet friendly since we often have to travel with our small dogs. On the down side, there was some frustration at check-in. We'd specified we needed early check-in at noon due to needing to attend a funeral. We verified two separate times by phone that this would be available to us, but at arrival the desk attendant said this was not possible and we'd have to come back at 3pm. Fortunately I had noted who I talked with and after some tension between us she apologized for the miscommunication and found a room that was a bit different from what was requested but it worked out fine. We also interacted with a different individual, Angela, a couple of times and she was very sweet and helpful and also helped us with the TV setup. If you are planning on the complimentary breakfast we do not recommend it unless you are ok with just standard grocery items like cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit. The hot bar was the absolute worst we've ever had. The eggs were inedible..like tasteless rubber. The sausage links and potatoes were not any better and all of the food was lukewarm. My husband will eat about anything but after a bite or two we both dumped our entire plates of food into the garbage - it was that bad. After a bowl of cereal we grabbed a couple of fresh oranges and left.
