Such an incredible place. I only had a quick trip, but will definitely be back! I think 3 nights or more would be the perfect stay to be able to experience everything they have there. Winery, Spa, Golf. Only had 1 meal while I was there and the Irish Pub was the perfect place!

Our recent visit to Château Ălan in Braselton, GA, was a truly memorable experienceâthanks in large part to Trey Christian, who guided us through an exceptional tour and wine tasting. Treyâs depth of knowledge about Château Ălanâs winesâand wine in generalâwas impressive. He delivered information with clarity, passion, and just the right amount of technical insight. His ability to explain varietals, tasting notes, and winemaking techniques made the experience both educational and thoroughly enjoyable. Quite frankly, he could easily be considered a sommelier. The wines themselves were fantasticâelegantly crafted and beautifully presented. From crisp whites to bold reds, each pour reflected the care and quality Château Ălan is known for. But it was Treyâs guidance and enthusiasm that truly elevated the tasting. He brought the wines to life with context and storytelling, making each sip more meaningful. If youâre planning a visit to Château Ălan, I highly recommend requesting Trey. His professionalism, knowledge, and warm hospitality made this visit one of the highlights of our trip.

Donât waste your money. Complete pain in the rear to book because they do not consolidate their reservation services and none of the operators are well informed. They charge extra to park and run a credit card. We asked the front desk to connect us on a scratchy in-house phone system to room service to get a real cup of coffee in the morning and both times were transferred to a recording â cannot accept calls at this timeâ. The grounds are beautiful, the wines are good, and the on-site staff are personable but this was not worth the price paid.

My two best friends and I were very fortunate to have Trey lead us through a tour of Château Ălan's vineyards and wine making/casking facilities. But the best part of the tour was yet to come: the wine tasting! Trey was very knowledgeable and made the experience enjoyable and memorable. (I also learned that Trey is an expert in men's fragrances.) Thank you, Trey, for a wonderful experience!

Very disappointed in this resort. Considering the price paid I expected much more. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. The rooms were adequate but basic. The kitchen had dishes but no dish towels to clean dishes with and the microwave did not work, though maintenance did come out and fix for us. I ordered a bottle of sparkling wine and charcuterie board to be in the villa when we arrived but it wasnât. When I called about it, they delivered me the sparkling wine at room temperature with no ice bucket and the charcuterie board? I will let you decide(photo provided). It was served on a paper plate and looked to have just been thrown together- not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but considering I paid ~$150 for that and the sparkling wine, I expected more. I made reservations for breakfast/brunch at Versailles. On the website it details a breakfast menu ordered a la carte that sounded amazing but then when I got there, they said they only offered a buffet(this is not mentioned anywhere that I could find on the website). Once again, the food was okay, but at $40/person for a BREAKFAST BUFFET, not including beverages, I wanted to be blown away. The saving grace and ONLY reason I gave a rating of 3 was the EXCELLENT service provided by Hasan at Marc Restaurant Saturday evening and the great time we had on the winery lawn Saturday afternoon making new friends. I have never written a review before but felt people deserved to know before they booked. I did complete a survey reporting my disappointment and have yet to hear from anyone about my concerns. My suggestion would be to stay at the Hampton Inn adjacent to the property. You will pay a fraction of the cost, can still walk to the winery/Marc Restaurant, and basically receive the same service/accomodations(based on my previous stays at various Hampton Inns).
