Hello Everyone, To be honest, I was surprise at my room with the Westin. I expected more because the hotel is in the heart of midtown Atlanta and the lobby areas are very nice. I recommend an upgrade because the hotel is very dated. The carpet in my room #2105 was frayed, the wall paper was peeling in the bathroom, the bathroom title was old, one towel was torn, small bath area and the furniture was outdated. The things I noticed that were positive: 1. Crystal C. at check-in was kind and efficient, the hotel has lots of rooms and space for entertaining. There is an on site bar and restaurant. There is lots to do in midtown Atlanta within walking distance. Parking is a bit much.

The Westin Peachtree in Atlanta has an unbeatable location, making it ideal for business travelers. The views from the top floors are still fantastic, and despite its age, the building remains one of the most beautiful in the city. The Sundial Restaurant is a highlight, offering top-notch dining with incredible scenery. However, the hotel is definitely showing its age. The elevators are confusing, and service is just OKânot what I would expect from a Westin, especially as a Platinum Elite member. My stay started off rough with a malfunctioning TV and a thermostat that was difficult to adjust. Worse, a persistent humming noise on my floor made it nearly impossible to sleep. When I requested a room change the next day, I was moved next to the elevators, despite my profile explicitly requesting a quiet room away from them. I had to push for compensation, and they reluctantly offered only 5,000 pointsâdisappointing for the level of inconvenience I experienced. Overall, the hotel still has its perks, but the service and upkeep need serious improvement. The finishes arenât there, the walls in the hallways have scratches, the carpet by the ice machine was completely soaked. Hard to classify this as a luxury hotel. Would only stay here for the views, but not for the experience.

This orientation of this hotel is odd, it's not clean, and the food isn't good. The rooms are oddly laid out, which I guess is because of the building's shape. Upon check-in, I wiped down the desk, and it was dusty as if it hadn't been cleaned. The sink was visibly dirty with hair and gook in it. When my room service arrived, the glass was dirty with a chunk of something (food?) on it. The details make or break a hotel stay, and this Westin clearly isn't paying enough attention to the details.

The one thing that kept it from being a 5 was no valet for luggage. We valeted our car, but there was no one there for luggage. We got it up the elevators fine, but...I would expect better from that caliber of a hotel. It is a hike up to the lobby desk to check in. The elevators are a bit confusing. We were on the 45th floor and could hear the service elevator. I wear ear plugs, so perhaps bring some. Our view was Olympic park, so nice. We went to the bar area in the lobby for drinks and a dessert. It was busy. There is a gift shop. There is a Hard Rock across the street. We had been years ago and ate at the top. If you haven't done that, would recommend.

I went to this Westin location to enjoy bringing in the new year downtown. Unfortunately, someone broke into my room and stole my whole purse in Phone. Turns out the door lock mechanism worked in properly, and there were no cameras in the hallways of the hotel to show which Thief went into my room. Weston stated the door like feature indicated we did not properly close the door all the way despite my video showing that their mechanism doesnât always close properly. They took no ownership or at least part ownership of the issue and as a result of that, I advised guest to be mindful of your safety at this hotel because if you file a claim, Weston is gonna figure out every way, not to provide any compensation I wonât be staying there again
