The hotel is going through a major renovation. No where was this disclosed upon booking. I only found out when I checked in (and it was already too late to leave due to cancellation fees). I received room 400. Upon arrival it smelled like a sweaty, greasy menâs locker room. There was visible water damage on the bathroom walls. The dishwasher was rusted out and hanging on by one screw. The carpet was dirty and ripped in multiple places. Stained and ripped curtains. There was dust piled up on the outlets. Totally disgusted. No breakfast (although website says there is a free hot breakfast). One elevator with an expired inspection attached. The luggage rack had either black grease or black painted on it. Which is now all over my beige canvas bag.

The hotel is currently under renovation so it did not provide breakfast. First room we were assigned had faulty air conditioning. Once moved the room was clean and comfortable. Staff we encountered were very nice and quickly resolved our air conditioning issue. Gentleman that came to evaluate the problem informed us he would get us changed to a different room. Thought $18.00 parking charge was high. Though we werenât completely satisfied we will stay there again unless we can locate a different location convenient to our daughterâs home.

This is a good extended-stay hotel, but it was under construction during my visit, so amenities were thin. I was only there one night, so it wasn't a deal-breaker. The room itself was well-kept, clean, and spacious. Parking was a little hard to find, but it was well-lit and seemed safe.

I would have given no stars if that were an option! We don't usually write reviews after a hotel stay, but I have to this time. Our stay at Residence Inn Atlanta Buckhead was a horrible experience. First of all, we received a last-minute email on our arrival informing us that they wouldn't provide breakfast, which was included in our reservation, due to first-floor construction. I find it hard to believe they had no prior planning for such a major construction and only notified their customers one day before their arrival, leaving no room for them to rearrange their plans. When I asked the front desk staff about the breakfast upon arrival, he looked into my eyes without shame and said, 'We have sent you an email already,' without expressing any sorry. I can't believe that someone can run a business like this. Actually, we were on the airplane when they sent the email, and then we drove for hours afterward. We couldn't cancel the reservation and book another hotel on the same day of check-in. I believe they intentionally sent the email late to prevent their customers from making alternative arrangements. We didn't argue with the front desk about it. Second, the HVAC fan in our room made a huge noise all night long and didn't stop even for a second, even when we set the thermostat to off. The only thing that could cover the noise was the fan in the bathroom, which made even louder noises. We could hardly fall asleep all night, which ruined our itinerary for the next day. Third, the hotel is worn and old, and the elevator is not safe. The control panel has some broken covers, and the elevator sinks every time you enter or exit. Lastly, the staff was rude and unwelcoming when we checked in. I can't believe this hotel is associated with the Marriott standard. Overall, this was the worst experience we have had with hotels. Of course, I will never go to this hotel again. With a wooden ramp at the front, the swimming pool area under construction, and staging materials in the parking area, they can tell you that they notified you yesterday about stopping breakfast tomorrow morning without shame. You can tell there is no honesty. This also makes me question the Marriott standard.

If you like bed and breakfasts and family run Inns this might be the place for you. If you thrive on chain run hotels and professionalism Run. They say they are doing a renovation but use that as an excuse for bad behavior. There is no hot breakfast. Have u ever gotten breakfast in front of the check in desk? Well you can here? Have you ever got stuck in the elevator well i did, i am 52 years old and have ridden in a lot of elevators but got stuck in one here but never before. Has a workman walked in on your naked daughter after she went to get horror breakfast in casual clothes but sheâs beautiful well it happened here and then the assistant manager Melissa said that was a lie. Oh they cleaned the carpet while we were there and sent a note move all of your things to the non carpeted area. It is an extended stay we had a lot of stuff. Then the carpet was cleaned and I assume dirty water was used to clean the carpet because we both got sick. Anyhoo AM Melissa lied and said the workman who had a key to over ride the lock never busted in the door well how did I know the lock could be over rode = madness. They have an infestation of lady bugs. Everything is old like from the 20th century old. Stay at your own risk but donât expect them to care oops I forgot the fire alarm went off we left the room for a fire alarm and exited out the door and were cordoned off by gates and if it had been a real fire we would have died. Trust me this is not a family friendly hotel. Finally AT&T is beside the hotel and there are multiple 5g cell phone towers beside the hotel if that bothers you then be aware
